A very tricky next few fixtures means we are likely to get dragged nearer to the mire so i'ts a valuable point today even though in essence it's another two blown.

Usual flaws exposed again but the second half resilience was good to see and gives them a bit of belief and something to build on.

Fleck another stupid signing given his recent history, the DoF needs to pull his finger out and get Travis back right now, Garret is Lowe mk2 and needs to go away and learn in a lge below for a bit.

The two Sams up front though we could be on to something there.

We can't get Travis back , he is on loan for the season ..

Dreadful football, dreadful side.  Feel like this is the perfect storm to see us go down... Amazing, selling your best players and not replacing them.. Who'd have thought! I'd be more shocked if we stayed up. Shocking side.

Kaminski, Bell, Nyambe, Lenihan, Ayala, Rothwell, Travis, Wharton, Brereton, Armstrong..  We've not adequately replaced a single one of those.  Wonderful stuff!

    That's the Raos fault !

Anyone else notice how JDT was gone within a week of suggesting people should 'ask Suhail'

He'd spent 8 months taking the piss out of Waggott with some of his press comments and nothing happened.

But the second he references Shadow Man his time is brought to an end.

Perhaps shows the rankings here and just how determined they are to keep him hidden

Does this Suhail character , possess a work permit ?

We’ve suddenly gone into the complete opposite of what we were under JDT - from a ‘keep possession at all costs’ team to one that just aimlessly boots the ball away as soon as we get it.

And whilst there were plenty on here (and loads more sat around me at Ewood) rejoicing on Saturday that “finally we’ve got rid of that passing out from the back crap”, I was never convinced that just giving the opposition CBs the ball at every opportunity was a sustainable approach and so it transpired tonight as Birmingham attacked us at will and could (and probably should) have scored 5 or 6.

I’d love to see the stats from halftime up until the goal - I’d be amazed if we had more than about 10% possession - and most of that was just whilst waiting for Pears to take the goal kick!! However, it turns out that it’s actually pretty hard to score when you don’t have the ball!

Hopefully this isn’t actually how the new manager wants us to play and there will be an actual game plan going forward, because if not then we will go down with barely a whimper

I watched most of it , we played ourselves into trouble playing it out from the back , twice in the early 2nd half .....

It needs to be stopped, the players aren't good enough to play it !

  5. It doesn't surprise me Venkys have never acted in the best interests of Blackburn Rovers..

I suspect and hope I am right , Venkys could well be entering their end game , therefore they just want the money ...

Strange thing is , they would have got more in the Summer and Adam would have gone to a better club !

  6. We certainly need a new manager bounce or we will be relegated......Will we get one ? , i am not so sure , to me the players that remain are not up to the task of a full on relegation scrap...

Time will tell , selling your best player for whatever reason rarely works well..

Good luck John Eustace , you are going to need it !

Think it's a weird move for a supposedly ambitious manager at his age. With the best will in the world it's a struggle for Sweden to even qualify for tournaments these days, let alone do anything in any. Should have stuck around in England and backed himself to get to the Prem with a better run Championship club than ours.

With all the goodwill in the world , he wouldn't get many suitors in England ..

Part time job , travelling the world, no pressure  in that with Sweden ..

I wish him well  but glad he has gone !

I liked Sam, he did a great job at Bolton and he was on the way to doing a great job at Rovers. I knew we were in big trouble the day they sacked him.  Having said that I think he’s had his day to be honest. The game has moved on. Would he have kept us up - maybe, maybe not. He couldn’t keep WBA in the Prem.

That was a much more difficult task than keeping Rovers in the Championship...

WE are not in the bottom 3 , yet !

You are probably right , he hasn't managed for while ...
