Wasn't Alex Neil linked to us during the Covid season ?

I would argue that Broughton is the only one with something resembling a plan, at the club.
Is it still “not a huge loss” when you consider that without him, our next managerial appointment would be made by Waggott and Suhail?
Broughton has to stay, for me. Whether he wants to after the bullshit that’s been pulled in the past week or so remains to be seen.
I f he has to stay , we are going to have to play a different system , no good playing out from the back .
The players are not good enough to play it (the ball is like a red hot potato to our defenders)

I ran out of players to choose from and I rate him over Sigurdsson on the wing.I have a 14year old cat , who I would prefer to Sigurdsson any where on the pitch !

He was bang average at best. And that's being kind. He relegated us despite having plenty of time to keep us up. Got promotion with probably the most expensive squad in league 1. Then had us treading water claiming we had no right to anything better. Tactics were woeful. Patronised the fan base. The only thing he did right was player purchases but the club allowed players to run down their contracts
That's true but we did go down with 52 points a total , we not get this season...
I doubt we will get 45 points this season...

Which I believe was the Millwall match last season where the pressure was effectively off as at that point we only had a slim chance of getting into the playoffs. The same thing we saw under Mowbray - comfortable as underdogs, uncomfortable when there are any expectations.
Millwall this season too

The only good thing about today is that Waggott is well and truly rattled , he will be looking over his shoulder for the rest of the season ,if he lasts that long !

He's captain now because he's one of the very few senior pros left and probably a very well spoken professional guy and that's fair enough.
However if there were 5 or 6 around his age he wouldn't be el'captitan i wouldn't have thought so that says a lot. Focusing half time on mollycoddling a few young players against the fans sounds about right. He should have been kicking the others up the arse and telling his head coach this isn't working.
But this is what they've reduced the squad to and i said ages ago if you have an U23s squad you'll get U23s football and the mistakes and flimsyness that goes with it.
Looking like we are missing one Lewis Travis in that dressing room !!

If he goes, I don't want to hear 'get behind the lads' if there are any protests.
We are not protesting against the 'lads' or head coach. Don't let the f*ckers fool you.
That is a good point , could well have been done to quell a protest on BBC 1..
Last time the protests were on Sky , a lot more viewers on the BBC and worldwide ....

All these problems we have and we have a lot :
Are on the Venky Raos watch , more or less from day one they started to dismantle the club that Jack built !
That was 13 years ago and there's very little left to dismantle , now.
Nothing , to do with snowballs and to be honest ,I don't know why or how they are still situ ..
They were flagged up in Parliament ,to the Premier league and to the EFL.
Our only hope is the Indian Government , which hopefully will lead too administration.
David Whelan was correct when they bought it !
It doesn't seem right and it bloody well wasn't !!!

As a Rovers fan going back to childhood and Saxton i can in my personal view say the only real uprisings of anger have been totally organic inside the ground. When Rovers fans finally blow they blow and i suppose it's because we hold it back in so long beforehand giving people the benefit of the doubt.
Too polite a crowd at times but the ferocity when the point is tipped has surprised plenty and if they don't pull their fingers out their cushy little number is over.
Saxtons time was up , I was present at at one of the protests outside the main office , it took only a couple of weeks before he went ..Xmas 86 I think....
Jim Iley got a lot of abuse from basically game 1 , I think he went in early October .

How come this vastly experienced guy who has overseen more signings than we can even remember has
suddenly lost the ability to do his job ?
Also how much will it cost to pay him off and shut him up !
He may not want , to be shut up ?
I have going on Ewood long enough to remember Peter Sylvester a loan striker from Norwich...beat Notts County I think 6-1 in his first game 1976 or 77....He didn't last long a month at best !

Do you think venkys will care?
We've gone from 27,000 fans to 12,000 fans at matchdays in their ownership period and they are still here. I don't know what it will take for them to sell up or take notice of the fans
Probably an Indian court ! There's no way out of that one , I hope 🙏

JDT the best manager of Venky's era. They've had several windows to get him a striker worthy of the name and utterly failed.
If they had and we'd converted just a few more of the myriad chances we have created, we would have easily made the play-offs by now. Then we could have built on it.
Its not his fault that he been sent to fight without weapons.
There is no evidence , that Venkys have wanted to build on anything , asset stripping dismantlers !
Don't forget , they sacked the best manager since Mark Hughes within a month !

No shit aimed at him. I'm next to the padded seats - in December they put up a load of netting from row 13/14 up leaving a small section below which is full on a match day. You can't get near him.
He heard everything being chanted tho and looked slumped in his seat.
The shouting will get louder as the weeks pass .
Snowball got a Venky and Waggott is a bigger target!

I think that's a stretch even for them - if that was the case why didn't they do it last time we went down?
I think it's more likely complete and utter incompetence.
Premier League relegation was deliberate , actually I thought we were a bit unlucky to go down to 1st Division with 52 point and a few shanagihans , thrown in with Redknapp and Huddersfield...
