  1. Decent game. But only because both defences look shocking. Still no proper chance created. Mak should've been playing here.
  2. I'd honestly be taking off Hedges now
  3. Trav and Tronstadt look such a good central midfield partnership.
  4. Similar to last week with some hopeless long balls up to Ohashi. Credit to Dolan, he has looked the bright spark for us so far.
  5. I agree he isn't awful. But he is consistently poor. Occasionally good. That's not enough ans I think we have better options.
  6. Pears was very good today. Beyond that, there wasn't a lot to be pleased about. We seemed really clueless going forward and never looked like threatening to score. A lot of work needed and time for some switches of personnel. Dolan and Hedges should be options from the bench. Baker is a square peg in a round hole unless coming in for Travis or Sondre. We've got a lot that's encouraging but that fluency in the final third was a long way off, today.
  7. Get Weimann, Cantwell and ACD on. This isn't working
  8. Yes defensively but distribution very poor.
  9. Doesn't change the fact he has reverted to type and looks both out of his depth and like he is so desperate to impress he ends up looking like a joke. We have far better options.
  10. Yeah bloody brilliant, eh? Cheers, whoever did that, you coward.
  11. Jesus, Dolan should be nowhere near this line up. Liability
  12. A fucking horrible challenge by someone who seems a total dickhead. Good riddance
  13. Agreed this is a dreadful team performance, so far.
  14. I'd already be happy to see Gueye on for Dolan and Weimann for Baker. Starting line up, combined with long ball approach looks all wrong. So far...
  15. Unconvincing. Definitely a lack of penetration.
  16. I'm really enjoying the long-missed feeling of eagerly awaiting Rovers matches. Better times - at least on the pitch.
  17. My mind has now leapt to an 11pm notification of "breakdown in talks to sign Cantwell, but agreement reached for two year deal for John Fleck". Cue social media video of Fleck signing contract, getting up and gently bumping leg on corner of desk, to sounds of bone and metal shattering.
  18. I'm interested about on what you are basing that very positive view? Genuine question as I haven't heard of him before.
  19. I wonder if the 'performance' v Blackpool has sharpened a few minds and broken through any impasses at Rovers. Players (and first XI upgrades, not just squad fillers) urgently required.
  20. He looked good yesterday as a late-ish impact sub, playing LW/CF, with loads of pace. But his finishing was poor. He is not in their first team and hasn't scored yet this season after 4 appearances. About 25 goals in 150 games. In honesty he looked very fast but not much else. Perhaps something that could be developed but, for me, not a priority for the immediate term.
  21. As well as a clear and obvious desperate need for a new goalkeeper, Poku is a must-sign if he is a genuine option. I'm at Exeter v Pererbrough today and he is a class apart. Quick, skillful, good dangerous crosses and a great corner on him. He would be ideal and better than anything I've seen from Dembele etc in the past.
  22. Great new title! Let's hope this one doesn't go to a replay.
