  1. I meant the Venkys but the more who are there the merrier (or maybe not!)
  2. If you mean the owners I think you’d want it to be all of them together. If it wasn’t, you’d probably get different answers depending on which of them it was.
  3. I read yesterday that no team has ever scored 300 in the fourth innings in India (irrespective of the result).
  4. There is a long list of documents which are required to be sent to the EFL before they’ll okay a transfer. They should (but clearly can’t!) be able to get these right every time.
  5. You weren’t far wrong with your prediction.
  6. I’m only going on what we were told his responsibilities would be when he took the job. I haven’t a clue how close to the reality that is which is why I put ‘I doubt’ (as against I know).
  7. Why set up the deals in the first place though? I appreciate the ‘to show we tried’ argument but surely there’s easier ways of doing this than fudging the paperwork?
  8. Aren’t sacrificial lambs usually lower in the food chain?
  9. That’s far from what his job entails so I doubt he is under employed. Whether he is overpaid and/or no good at his job are entirely different ‘arguments’ to make.
  10. Doesn’t this (from SW) suggest he/the board (and not GB) has the final say on recruitment? “There will be a defined player budget which quite a bit of it is committed to the players we’ve got but then there will be an amount set aside for how we want to use it. “Gregg has got the budget lines, he knows what’s available to spend and he will then propose an acquisition of a player, whether that be a permanent transfer, a loan or a free transfer, and he’ll present that to me and the board and say ‘this is who we want’.
  11. Are we any closer to filling the following vacancy?? https://s3.eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/gc-media-assets.gc.roversservices.co.uk/7f909320-7578-11ed-adfa-a911dc879109.pdf
  12. I think Shaw was in charge when Silvester joined.
  13. Silvester/Waggott are the people who can sign the paperwork. This doesn’t mean they’re the ones who actually do the paperwork.
  14. Venkys London Limited have the power to remove the directors of Rovers. The Raos are the directors of Venkys London.
  15. and why would he still want to join us??
  16. How much money we talking here? JDT might decide it’s worth it.
  17. His instagram still says @Rovers (if that means anything other than the square root of fuck all)
  18. Whilst having to get the ‘go ahead’ from a third one…
  19. I wonder whether he got his info from on here 🤔🧐
  20. What do you think will prompt a turnaround in our form?
  21. This project hasn’t changed?? (from GB’s first interview)… ‘It looks like everything’s in place now and my job is to implement the vision of the Owners and for us to become a sustainable Premier League football club. “I want to build a strategy for us to achieve that and make sure we’re all joined up and going in the same direction. “The Premier League is a priority but it can’t be boom or bust, we want to try and do it in a sustainable way. We have Financial Fair Play in the Championship and, secondly, it’s just the right way to run a football club, in my opinion.
  22. Whilst it wouldn’t help with FFP I presume it could still be done under the guise of ‘keeping the lights on’.
  23. I still lean towards them just being incompetent but I’d be in no way surprised if it turned out you are right.
