  1. Performance related pay? 🤔
  2. I’ve never looked at the euro rules but I see no reason why you’d be wrong. Hopefully one day the euro rules will be important to us again 🤞
  3. Plus we will have to pay up the rest of his signing on fee.
  4. The EFL rules say your squad list of 25 must include 8 home grown players (and a match day squad 7) but it doesn’t say that any need to be from your club. There is another rule which says clubs must nominate a ‘club developed player’ on either their squad list or in every league match day squad. A club developed player is one whose spent at least one year at the club prior to the end of his under 19 season. When a subs bench was 7 the punishment for not naming a club developed player was only being able to have 6 on your bench - I’m not sure how this has been affected by the move to 9 subs. Sorry for going so far off topic!
  5. What are the 6 more important things (according to City)?
  6. Good point, or maybe the return of the Anglo-Italian cup. Simply Blue and White - Money’s too tight (to mention)
  7. I don’t know whether it’s 4 either but I don’t think we need to be worrying about euro comp rules right now 😁
  8. I don’t think so, what rule are you thinking of?
  9. Glad to see you’re back 👍
  10. One whose manager might not be changing really soon.
  11. Burnley bottom of the as it stands table.
  12. I’m assuming it’s legal speak for no fee can be involved - here’s what it says in full…
  13. Or it was a free transfer.
  14. The Russia ruling doesn’t allow a player to be transferred ‘against’ payment’.
  15. *Incognito mode activated*
  16. They’re having to go to court because the Directorate Of Enforcement don’t want them to be able to send funds. I can’t see how they (the DoE) don’t ask the court the same question you posed earlier.
  17. I imagine ‘the other side’ will enlighten them.
  18. For the buying club the full value of the player becomes his book value in the accounts. This book value is reduced annually over the course of the player’s contract - so a £10 million pound signing on a four year contract would reduce in book value by £2.5m a year. Its this £2.5 million which contributes towards a club’s loss (or reduces their profits).
  19. I agree - he surely has better things to blow his wad on.
  20. You are correct 👍 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/fa-cup/top-scorers
