  1. Would anyone have played Foakes at 8 and had Root as our spin option?
  2. Bananarama - Robert De Niro’s Waiting
  3. I expect others will disagree but for me the missed stumping and no ball are more of an ‘issue’ than the fact we declared. We need a good first hour in the morning for sure.
  4. I don’t know what they think they’re gaining by pushing it to the limit.
  5. I know Bairstow batted well and took a very good catch but I still think we should be picking our best wicketkeeper.
  6. How difficult is it to keep your foot behind the line…
  7. See my comment about their ego 😁
  8. Another wicket, but a missed stumping as well.
  9. I’ll just pretend you have a lisp 😁
  10. I’d forgotten about the 2nd New Zealand test 🫣 Agree wholeheartedly with your second paragraph. I wonder how long Australia’s ego will allow them to be the ‘boring and old fashioned’ ones…
  11. It’s worked against everyone - so far…
  12. Oh I wouldn’t have declared but I wouldn’t call it reckless either. Anyway - Warner has gone 😀😀😀😀
  13. I wouldn’t call it reckless as we did only have 2 wickets left. I guess we’ll have a better idea later on today…
  14. The whole concept of Bazball is a bit of a gamble. So far it has (on the whole) paid off but there will be occasions when it goes completely ‘tits up’ Let’s just hope that doesn’t happen against this lot…
  15. Any Dominican ancestry? - you’d almost certainly get a game 😁
  16. I think that’s true of any ‘unusual tactic’ Personally, I’d have sent out the instruction (to Root and Robinson) to ‘give it a twat’ We would either have added another 40ish runs or lost the last 2 wickets quickly and still had a bowl at them. I’d also be interested in the thinking behind Robinson bowling instead of Andersen. All that being said, Stokes certainly has plenty of ‘credit in the bank’ to make whatever decisions (within reason 😁) he wants. I wonder if he’d have done the same if we’d only been 4/5 wickets down…
  17. Could be worse, could be a Wales fan 😁
  18. 6 short (change of innings) - but that’s with the extra half an hour. As @matt83 mentioned earlier, they were on 74 overs just before the scheduled close of play. As you say, ridiculous.
  19. Ten (had to look it up!): Andresen, Berg, Bjornebye, Bohinen, King, Ostenstad, Gamst Pedersen, Pedersen, Samuelson, Tromstad
  20. I’d not go as far as trying to get 110 overs in the day, but I would make them stay out there until all 90 overs have been bowled (light/weather permitting)
