  1. IF we keep chipping away at the Aussie batsmen, we could bat ‘traditionally’ and still reach the target. I’m not saying we would reach the target, just that the RPO required might not be overly challenging. Of course we’d probably try and chase it down by lunch tomorrow…
  2. Let him use it - instead of his bat 😁
  3. They’ve said Lyon will bat if necessary.
  4. Five - Slam Dunk (Da Funk) The start of the video for this is how Rovers should walk out of the tunnel before matches 😁
  5. That’s a better five minutes, even allowing for the drop.
  6. The Clash - I Fought The Law
  7. I’m sorry to hear about your health and I hope you have a great holiday with your family. No one can question your loyalty to our club, you’ve done more than most over the past decade in support of it. To answer your question (which I know was rhetorical) sadly I don’t think there is any loyalty from the club - well not from ‘those in the suits’ anyways.
  8. I presume this will cause Cardiff ‘issues’ with FFP compliance?: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-66071830
  9. Terry Jacks - Seasons In The Sun
  10. Nail on head from Aggers: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/cricket/66068007
  11. 100% agree. Before the series began I wondered whether the Aussie’s ego would mean they’d try to match us ‘tactically’ just to prove they could. It turns out our ego is preventing us from adapting (not abandoning) our new mindset as and when it’s necessary to do so.
  12. Out of interest, what percentage chance would you put on you deciding to renew?
  13. In some instances yes - for example, I’m not convinced we’d have won 3-0 in Pakistan playing the more traditional way.
  14. I disagree that they’ve done okay - I think they’ve merely relied on the fact some fans will renew/buy ‘whatever the price’.
  15. He doesn’t seem to comprehend that the same tactic can be good against one team but not against another.
  16. Further questions( in bold) and answers given - it doesn’t look like that humility is coming any time soon… Is the plan just to keep continuing with the attacking approach?: "We've seen in the last year this is how this team operates, gets boundaries and break records. We have the courage to see how far we can take it. What is your response to the criticism of your approach?: "People will have their opinions. We have our idea, part of that was taking the option today. "I'm not going to get into this argument, no-one said it was reckless versus New Zealand, no-one said it was reckless when Joe Root played that reverse scoop. We tried to get them off that length and score."
  17. Our spin bowling coach was asked after today’s play: ’Is it approach over result?’ He answered with: ’It is until after day five’ What does that even mean??
  18. and learn from your mistakes (whether that’s tactics, mindset, or execution)
  19. Do we claw any of that expense back through no longer having the costs of maintaining the training ground or is this still the club’s responsibility?
  20. Haven’t we been with Macron for two years?
  21. I believe it was the ‘pulled out of their arse’ method 😁
