  1. A bookshop in Verona perhaps? 😂
  2. Very good day for England. Let’s get the lead to over 200 and then hope the pitch falls apart (and there’s not too much rain).
  3. I’m sure @J*B will dm you the details. 😀
  4. https://www.roverstore.co.uk/kit/2324-away-kit/adults/3275_rovers-2324-adult-away-shirt.html
  5. I’m sure you are right but I think the owner enjoyed the extra publicity as well.
  6. Good start to the day. Why Woakes didn’t play at Lords is beyond me.
  7. Have I had a post hidden just for suggesting Broad should try and get the Australian number 10 out? 😇😇😇
  8. Cummins needs to be his next target.
  9. Run DMC Featuring Aerosmith - Walk This Way
  10. She didn’t get the job… https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/66228363
  11. Little Richard - Tutti Frutti
  12. From what I’ve read, Jim fully understands what’s being asked of the players - he just doesn’t agree with it being the right approach ‘come what may’
  13. The problem fans are the ones who think we want to watch them and not the race.
  14. Going completely off topic here! - I don’t mind which one of them wins, but I’m really enjoying watching the battle.
  15. Jonas isn’t off the ramp until 16:00 (UK time) tomorrow so you’ve plenty of time to focus on JDT first 😀
  16. I think you’re right in that the lower an ‘usual’ gate is the more the average gate will be affected by the occasional much larger attendance. I guess they’ll only be able to grow the regular attendances if they can work out (and find a solution for) why those who form the big crowds don’t then return more regularly. I haven’t been able to find out, but I’d be interested in knowing, what the average WSL is in terms of ground capacities.
  17. Whilst the absolute numbers are still low, the average attendance in the WSL more than trebled (I think!) last season.
  18. Meatloaf - You Took The Words Right Out Of My Mouth
  19. Regarding your first point, if someone says women are better at something than men is that automatically misandry? On your second point, I enjoy watching women’s football and agree with the need to support its development. In terms of excitement and drama, I see it as being the same as men’s football in the sense that some matches are better than others. In terms of quality, I think this has improved vastly over the last decade, in my opinion the one area where it hasn’t improved as much is in the goalkeeping department. One thing I particularly like is how there’s far less play acting and berating of the officials - I hope this doesn’t change as the game (hopefully) grows and the money ‘at stake’ becomes bigger.
