So when central midfielder Tom Cairney was plonked on the wing most of the time and he did those things what was he referred to as I wonder ? ?
-
'inverted winger' - football term for someone who is similar to others you have so you have to find a name for him to sound a bit more technical ?
-
oppression ? ?

Is Blueboy3333 not now a Ladyboy from Bank Top ? ?

Certain stands or certain areas of stands it should be relaxed in this day and age when a visit to some grounds is like a visit to the theatre or cinema with everyone sitting quietly munching snacks, sipping drinks and ogling their phones.

It cost a lot in terms of opportunity to add quality to what we had although going back to the time i'm not sure we were actually going anywhere ? In fact it was known it was coming long before by the suits and almost welcomed with open arms, loads of overpaid crap STILL got foisted onto the books whilst others got paid off, moved on. The team matured a bit then the sales began, it was an odd one our embargo it really was as we were still allowed to pay up to 10k pwk, it was almost like a great opportunity if your footballs version of a horse trader lurking in the background !!
-
Doesn't the Posh chairman do similar every time there is some clubs after one of his prized assets ? Just trying to get the biggest deposit he can I suppose but also risks frightening clubs off and an angry player.

What's an FM18 ?

If the sell on clauses haven't already been bought out...........

Me ??

He makes a good point in that although it was on here somewhere last season that 3 or 4 of ours including Graham were on 10-16k pwk in league 1 after their relegation clauses.
-
At least you don't leave your seat 10 mins before half time and return ten mins after just to grab a pint of over priced horse piss like seems to be the eternal habit in grounds ?
-
They seem to have a new way of doing things now after last summers audit so maybe ST money does go to signings these days on paper at least. Wonder if it might be something to get round FFP because it is the clubs own income so surely it can be spent on buying players, in terms of the figures anyway ? The parent company continues to under pin everything else by loans/equity from profits elsewhere which seems to suit them and maybe now suits the FUFP that way ?
-
Future captain material ?

The guy from Liverpool could make sense to them if they want him in the shop window so taking a minimal contribution shouldn't bother them if he gets games. However it's all down to his attitude we don't want another like the ex Wiganer who came with Graham.

#bitonwebsite ?? Don't know whether that's dropped in on purpose or not but it's a belter, won't be long before he starts spouting something bitter if he cottons on. Dack to Bolton/Wigan/Burnley that sort of thing. As long as the site doesn't start with the old 'might happen, might not' !!
-
So a youngster in with good potential. a squad man in as well with a bit of potential, all good. Now let's have a Bradley Dack style marquee signing and a Mulgrew type experienced free, by that I mean players who'll instantly slot in and improve the first 11 straight off. That would be very decent summer business.
-
Good signing you can't beat getting in young potential if they are ready to at least play some part in the first team.
-
Benny Green and Danny Kendall, sounds like the type of centre forward pairing someone like Swindon would've had in the 80's ?
-
Vaguely remember that character, didn't he end up brown bread or something ? Would he be worth 3 or 5 million in todays market ? We've got that to spend y'know ?
-
Danny Green ? Sounds like a character off Football Factory or something, is he a proper in the know geezer then ?
-
Seeing as we tangle with Bolton, Preston, Wigan regularly now anyway and we've played that other lot quite regularly i'd prefer a version of the Anglo Scottish seeing as I never got to see that. But yes some kind of pre season tourno might get some interest and also be decent prep, maybe they should play part of the farcical checktrade pre season.
-
3 million or 18 million it's the new 50 million. I'm excited ?
-
I'm just doing my bit to lower the expectation levels, to me any spend under this lot is a bonus.
-
Of course 3 million is excitable compared to the last few years, where have you been ? I'll be over the moon if 3 mill is spent on a few DECENT players. Personally I think the whole playing side budget may be 3-5 million more than it was last year going in the line with the rise in income from promotion but there's a lot come out of it already.
