  1. Still nowt, trip down to the Club Shop tomorrow required.
  2. Agree 100% on Gallagher, don't understand the clamour for him to go up front tbh, he's absolutely useless and has regressed massively from his initial loan spell here. And he was only average then. Shouldn't be in the starting X1 at all. If any of the existing staff should get a chance up front, surely it should be Brereton.
  3. Yes, the money would be much better spent there than forking out on another set of loan fees for another bunch of Premier League teenagers.
  4. Still not had mine yet, I might have to make a special trip down to the Club Shop. I'm a bit more relaxed about the thought than if we didn't have seven points on the board but we really don't help ourselves at times.
  5. Great win, especially seeing as I thought the three that started up front were all fairly poor. Carter, Ayala, Rothwell and Buckley were all very good I thought. Chapman also impressive after coming on as sub. A wide man in his natural position posing a threat and providing an outlet. Fancy that Carter in particular did all that could be asked of him and yet again when we've asked one of our own youngsters to step up the world hasn't caved in and he's shown he's up to the job. No way whatsoever should he be going out on loan. At this stage of the season, before injuries bite, we seem to be benefitting from Mowbray only having 11 or 12 outfield players to choose from. Still think we badly need a decent permanent replacement for Armstrong though.
  6. We're there size 10 bootprints all over the grave from where Waggott has attempted to trample all over Jack's legacy? Thanks for everything Jack. Words can't express what you did for us. Some of us will do our level best to try and prevent Messrs. Waggott, Mowbray and Venus from dismantling the wonderful infrastructure you left the Club
  7. Good point hadn't even thought about it. I requested a new card and haven't had it yet. No surprise, we've seen already this administration are completely incapable of getting anything done on time.
  8. It's often not what you know but who you know in this game, Stuart Harvey gets appointed at Sunderland and promptly brings in the abysmal Evans.
  9. Give over Gav. 2 games. If we're still averaging 2 points per game after 10 games then you will have a point.
  10. When was that taken, a month ago?
  11. Decent point on Saturday but realistically there won't be many if any other games this season where we can get away with only having two efforts on target and coming away with a point.
  12. Yes, I'd have thought the signing of this 19 year old is more likely to deprive our 21 year old £10m wonder "kid" of playing time than Garrett.
  13. Mother of God as Ted Hastings would say. The players we've been linked with sound to be scraping the bottom of an incredibly deep barrel.
  14. Unfortunately the boat has temporarily sailed for a Club like ours in terms of signings from Europe. We dithered and dallied in terms of setting up some form of European Recruitment for at least 18 months to 2 years then by the time we finally got something set up Brexit had happened. Fairly typical of the shambolic inertia within the Club.
  15. Far more likely to be related to the medication he will have been on for years for his triple heart bypass I'd have thought.
  16. What does the guy in the middle do?
  17. I've no proof, but I've been told he's on a LOT more than that.
  18. Wouldn't be the worst shout in the world, there'd have to be a stipulation in his contract that he couldn't sign any players from Willie bleedin' Mackay's stable though! (If he's still an agent).
  19. If he was ever coming it would have gone through simultaneously with the Armstrong deal surely. Then again selling Armstrong with a ready made replacement coming the other way sounds a lot less of a blow than selling him with no replacement whatsoever. Just like having a game called off last season seemed a lot less of an issue when we were promised a brand new pitch just a few days later by Waggott. And look what happened there
  20. At a normal football Club, given we claim to be so short of money, the manager would be told to use Dolan or Chapman (who he's just given a THIRD contract to) rather than sign a player who's already injured before he even gets here.
  21. Indeed. How can you start to compare the hapless Kean to the cunning Mowbray? Kean never brought in his own choice of CEO to insulate himself. Kean never then tried along with said CEO to flog off the training ground in a similar scam to the one they tried (and failed with) at their previous Club. Bonkers indeed.
  22. Guessing Park is (allegedly) in charge of identifying targets and Venus is still (theoretically) charged with getting the deals over the line. Unless Venus's role within the Club has mysteriously changed yet again.
  23. Surely not with our crack negotiator Mark Venus getting the deal over the line and Tony Mowbray telling the player how our new signings go straight into the side in their favoured position. Oh.........hang on.
  24. Gav, have you started early tonight my friend? What on earth makes you think we can finish mid table "again" (not that 15th is midtable away) shorn of 36 goals from Armstrong and Elliott and no reinforcements up front?
