If it is John Eustace then his backroom staff will be interesting. Will be have to work with the current incumbents or can be bring his own team in. If he does presumably Lowe, Benson and Johnson will need paying up which the owners seemingly don't like doing.
It's always the million dollar question. Why are Lowe and Benson untouchable?
Time for Lowey to get out his photo of Balaji and the pool boy (or whatever it is!) In order to keep his job, again.

We're in absolute turmoil

Not that you can blame them, but the body language of the players looks terrible in that clip. The old "what on earth am I doing here" vibe.
Yeah, terrible.
Szmodics has his hand over his face, none of Gallagher, Hedges or Pears look bothered/interested in what's being said (can't blame them like as Waggots talking)

Anyone believe the players really spend half time discussing the mood of the crowd?
They clearly don't discuss tactics.
Gotta talk about something I suppose.

If JDT hasn’t walked already he’ll be out of the door now
Never before in my life have I heard of an instance of a team meeting over the performance of the team happening without the head coach…and especially consisting of fans as a “safe space” to talk
How disrespectful to JDT. He needs to do himself a favour and get out of here. He is too good for this crap
Seem to remember there was a similar scene in "The Damned United".
Obviously, didn't end well for Cloughie.

Wayne Rooney. Clowns in India will think a 'big name' will appease the fans because we get to look at wazza on the touchline. He will 100% be interviewed.
If they appoint Rooney I'm done.
Fuck that.

I know, he's just joined Aberdeen...... that's why I said it was a matter of days
Oh sorry, I apologise, I clearly didn't read your post correctly.
My bad.

And for the about the third occasion the timing is wrong to get Neil Warnock in and sort out the mess, this time by a matter of days.
Warnock already has a job.
Took over at Aberdeen a few days back.
Gary Rowett or John Eustace, one of those 2, surely?

JDT leaving is no surprise whatsoever. I have little faith that anyone at the club will get the next appointment correct.
JDT has been looking for the sack for a long time now. He knew his comments in the media wouldn't be tolerated forever.
Results have been absolutely wank as well for far too long.

Obviously he wasn't ever joining, the club is a fucking shambles.
Also, why would he even want to join us next season, when we are likely going to be in League one?

Not a hope in hell the transfer has gone through. The EFL can't bend the rules or be lenient otherwise they'd be open to every legal challenge under the sun from other clubs. Ultimately it doesn't matter which form wasn't submitted, whether it was wrong or late, we didn't do it correctly so the form is null and void.
Agreed. They can't allow it or it sets the precedent for the future/all clubs.

Just a minor update... And one that has blown my mind.
Some of the forms needed to register McGuire were lying on top of the fax machine and hadn't been sent. Whether these were visa, international clearance/registration I do not know. The club sent all relevant forms to the EFL and went ahead with the announcement. It wasn't until hours later that this was discovered thus creating the mess we are now in.
I wish it was satire. An incredibly embarrassing situation that has created a whole host of finger-pointing and infighting. Heads will roll, it's just unclear which buffoon will be made the scapegoat.
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha
If anything sums up the sheer incompetence of the ownership and hierarchy of this football club, this is it.

It also seemed to drag out months and by the time us was settled there’s only be a handful of games left
As @goozburger says above, the decision didn't come until March, so yeah not much time left.

Hard to believe there are still Venkys sympathizers out there. Read one on FB saying no one was saying “Venkys Out” when the club was paying million for Szmodics and Hyam. Went on to ask what position the club would be in if Venkys sold and then called the debt due.
Bottom line is Venkys can’t sell the call the debt as no one would acquire with the current debt outstanding. Venkys would have to write off the debt or a portion of it as uncollected in order for a buyer to step up.
They aren't getting that money back, ever.
There is no realistic way they can claw it all back.
Surely, the "best" solution is for them to draw a line under it, write it off and sell up, rather than continuing to stack more and more on top?

Pretty sure GB said no one had ever won the appeal before (following the O'Brien fiasco) so it would seem totally pointless appealing this when it inevitably gets rejected. Although the situations are slightly different, an appeal just pointlessly drags it out in some horrifically cringe inducing manner.

Blimey. If Ennis scores... I can't even begin to imagine that happening or how it would feel if it did. "Shite" I can imagine. Can you imagine? I don't want to.
16 minutes ago, AllRoverAsia said:Also I can't see Ennis doing a mute on celebration after he does score. It may just be epic.
Just to be clear, it was more of a joke post.
I could see Ennis scoring (because that's just our luck) but I doubt he'd do anything daft.

Back in the day, there were always rumours of Venky/club plants on this messageboard.
This still a thing? (if it ever was?) Just wondering if any of the cretins in charge will have been made aware of the growing unrest (to the point where protests are being discussed)?
-
0-2 defeat.
Ennis to score and sush the crowd in his celebration.
Ewood erupts and "We want Venkys out" is shouted loud and clear from the stands.

Venky's out is really getting some movement on Twitter! I think we are onto something big this time.
Yep, seems to be gaining some traction.

Looks like the time to strike with regards to any protest is now.
The Rovers Twitter page has posted this morning just the standard "Up next" usual post, which normally isn't really commented on. There are 50(ish) comments (not a lot, granted) and 95% are just #VenkysOut or have that hashtag in the comments.

What we need is someone who can get the best out of the players we've got, rather than sulking about what we haven't got,we just haven't got time for belly aching.
If Tomasson is up for it then fair enough, get on with it, if not then get rid. I'd personally be giving Solsjaer a ring, see what he's up to, but contrary to popular belief, there would be a fair queue. Eustace does seem like a motivator, as does Rowett, but do they fit in with the "project"?
Yep, we need a manager who can grind out results, even Warnock till the end of the season. Abandon all plans for playing Barcelona-esq football and get some points on the board by hook or crook.
We don't need Solskjaer either, I think we'd be in a similar situation as we are now with JDT. We need a manager who can come in and get some points on the board, we haven't won a league game for nearly 2 months.
A loss to Stoke and we are all but down.
