  1. The Issa brothers are leveraged up to their eyeballs with their EG Group having more than £8bn debts - do we really want them as owners and are they Rovers fans anyway?
  2. His injury record is poor but I'd take him on a pay as you play basis.. Huge asset when fit. Doubt if his agent would agree though
  3. Wycombe and derby look relegation material to me. Great that we took them apart like you should against poor sides but we will continue to struggle against the better teams. We’ve only played one decent side and we lost, shipping 3 goals in the process
  4. .....and we lost to the one decent side we've played.
  5. 3 games gone, 43 to go. Calm down
  6. The last 2 games have been remarkable. If Rovers were a racehorse or an athlete they'd be tested for drugs.
  7. Has Tony seen the league table - we're in nosebleed territory?
  8. Are you saying Johnson's salary is chicken feed?
  9. Clean sheets to the wind. Everyone's expecting an easy win because they've lost 2 and we've just beaten a poor side. This is Rovers and we're here to help. Derby 2-1.
  10. We’ve won one and lost one in high scoring games so logic says we will draw this. Derby 0 Rovers 0
  11. Let in goals every game and try to out score the opposition
  12. Convicts 73-5. Come on England, send them home miserable
  13. Steve Bruce team talk: "We should get a hatful against their crap defence but watch out for their intensity"
  14. Personally I'd rather we were rubbish and won.
  15. Tony knows it but doesn't know how to fix it.
  16. It's so easy to score against us....... individual and collective mistakes nearly every game
  17. Another season same old frailties. Tony’s a regular guy, so dependable
  18. As a final score - why?
  19. So here we are, another season about to start and apart from some juniors pressing their claim the defence is still largely the same. A new goalkeeper might make a difference but yet again, experienced "target" defenders have signed for other clubs. Albert Einstein is credited with saying, "The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results," Why should we end up anywhere but mid-table or lower?
  20. Young Mark Hughes in that photo, next to Derek Fazackerly. Jesper Olsen behind Faz. Not sure about the others
  21. Williams has developed into a decent centre half - not the sort of player who will get you promotion but steady enough. Williams the left back I'd let go but as a squad centre half I'd keep him.
  22. Fisher needs hooking and cast aside. Not good enough for the 1st team
  23. There's always a but though. Until we cut out the individual errors, many of them very basic, we will continue to ship goals.
