  1. Tin-hat time. Paul Cook for Rovers anyone?
  2. Good footballer Danny Graham, a proper centre forward. Wish we'd had him 5 years younger. I hoped Brereton and Gallagher might have learnt something from him in training, but they obviously haven't
  3. So that's Bristol City and Middlesbrough in the playoffs at least with Hughton and Warnock in charge. It could be us with Pearson at the helm. What are they waiting for?
  4. ..... based on the player upheaval likely in the coming weeks, many out of contract, the best likely targets for other clubs, the apparent managerial indifference as to whether we "make progress" or not, but most of all, the current direction of travel and dire form, as we stand at the moment I can't see anything other than a relegation struggle next season.
  5. Worse than John Barton and Alan Fettis?
  6. Sack Mowbray and get Pearson It's so glaringly obvious
  7. He shouldn't.....but he will.
  8. It's called "progress"
  9. ...... and get Pearson in.
  10. Pathetic Mowbray. He'll be going for the double with Rovers next season..... 2 relegations with the 1 club.
  11. So you're saying we'll never get relegated under Mowbray when he's relegated once already
  12. In the 2 seasons before we were relegated from the Premier League we finished 13th and 6th. Past form is meaningless and what you're saying is illogical
  13. So because we've finished mid-table twice, that prevents us going down, or up. Sounds silly to me
  14. Bodes well for next season doesn't it? Apparently it's "silly" to suggest we might be at the wrong end of the table in 2020-21
  15. Luton doing the double over us as it stands. It's pathetic really. This squad with this manager will be fighting relegation next season
  16. How does that work? Have to say, 648 looks right
  17. Watford changed manager 4 times in the season they got promoted to Premier League and have regularly swapped managers since, proving you don't need Mowbray-type "stability" to make progress. I don't care about them though. The point is Pearson is back on the market, he's miles better than Mowbray and if we were ambitious we should be approaching him
  18. Hands up who'd kick out Mowbray and bring in Pearson?
  19. Spoke too soon! Hope they stay up.
  20. Barnsley rock bottom and losing in their final game. They beat us easily 2-0 a few weeks ago
  21. Watford about to sack Pearson, according to the BBC. Seems daft in my book but Watford seem to change manager every 5 minutes. Pearson's a man who knows how to win promotion from the Championsip and is a definite upgrade on Mowbray. Like Warnock, a no-brainer to me....
  22. Luton pulled off a must win victory yesterday and they’ll do the same against us. I can’t see any way we will win this as we always fold against teams with strong desire and will to win - examples since lockdown being Wigan and Barnsley Luton 2 Rovers 0 to complete a double for the Hatters and demonstrate why this season has been so disappointing yet again when a top 6 place should have been achievable in a poor division
