Second worst team beats the worst team by a single goal but 3 precious points. It's going to be nip and tuck till the last game to avoid the drop -

Have to agree but the venerable Rev of this parish would drive him to the airport tomorrow. -

It'll be a jittery second half if it stays 1-0. Desperately need that 2nd goal to ease the nerves. -

They're awful all right but could easily have beaten us at Hillsborough - one of the worst games of football I've seen in 60 plus years of watching. The problem is we're not that much better than them - the league table doesn't lie -

3 points??? Couldn't care less if we play 4-4-2 or 10-0-0 In a relegation battle nothing else matters, as the experts say -

Rovers were lucky to escape with a draw at Wednesday - how Bannnon missed that chance only he knows. I'm not optimistic we will win tonight. Big test for Damien Johnson -
Still had 2 wins in 13 matches before Southampton sacked him so he would be an upgrade on Ismael Seriously, who wants any of those contenders? Duds the lot of them

Duffy’s a prickly character by some accounts. Left his club in Ireland after winning the championship after some sort of bust up. I don’t think he’s what we need right now and would his name be touted if he wasn’t an ex Rovers favourite? Eustace went to Derby about the same time last season and got them out of relegation trouble. We need a pragmatic hard headed manger like him

Horrible appointment from day one - why they thought a serial failure would come good is beyond any common sense -

Well done. I’m sure the owners have taken note after reading that and will be leaving the club first thing Monday

When the next boycott after the “success” of the last one?

Simms doesn't make sense on any level - cost / wages / Rovers' current predicament to name just a few This is the danger of social media and AI - most of it is worthless slop for the masses. Musk and Zuckerberg win again Alf Thornton and proper journalists like him would be appalled -

'Killer' Keeley was a dirty so-and-so - saw him stupidly get sent off at Fulham in a match in which Bobby Moore and George Best were playing. But he wasn't hard. Ken Knighton always struck me as "hard" - mess with him and he'd boot you over the touchline -
Wharton sent off on another bad day for Palace who appear to be in freefall. Are they going to do a Leicester and drop down the league in the relegation battle Hopefully

Unlikely. Leonard needed 10 chances to score one

It was in the past too, little boy

Invading the pitch in those was days was not a legal right, it was considered disorderly conduct and those doing so could still face charges such as breach of the peace or obstruction. Many Rovers fans were arrested but the majority were not, mainly because of the numbers involved. The same thing would happen now. If fans want to bring down a rotten regime, a revolution is required, and it worked in the past. Quiet "protest" won't cut it I'm afraid. Have you got what it takes? It doesn't look like it.

See reply above. More effective than a boycott IMO
