  1. We were saying that 3 games ago and it didn't happen.
  2. We've had so many chances to get up there. It's not going to happen because the team isn't quite up to it.
  3. Might as well be 30 points.
  4. Another one. The table doesn't lie - we're not good enough
  5. Draw would be a relief but 3 points out of 9 is hopeless. Playoffs as far away as ever
  6. Probably the worst decision over the last 10 years. And there's been plenty of them
  7. Stockmarkets are well down because of coronavirus and will have hit Tony's pension pot for six this week. His adviser says he needs another season to make up the deficit so go easy today.
  8. Not only that Phil, but I've been saying all week Swansea would win 2-1. Should have done a Mercer and put some money on
  9. Armstrong scored the pen at Brentford so why wouldn't he take it ?
  10. Tony's half time pep talks seems to have gone down like a lead balloon. We've been poor this half. Not sure how anyone thinks this team can get in the top 6.
  11. Mowbray has to act. Goals required to keep the season alive.
  12. Season over if it stays like this
  13. A draw is no good after taking only 2 points from the last 6. Still think Swansea will sneak it 2-1; Lenighan badly missed today
  14. Swansea have some dangerous players and we're weaker in defence and struggle to score. Throw in bad weather, an apathetic crowd and a manager who invariable picks the wrong team and cannot get it motivated anyway and there's only going to be one outcome. Swansea 2-1
  15. Chaddyvision. It doesn't do Rovers criticism at any time.
  16. Swansea will have watched our toothless performance in midweek and taken note. They're a decent side and we have no Lenighan. Swansea 2-1.
  17. Walter Joyce. Never an international. Sorry
  18. The team was set up for the away counter attacking game for which it is suited at Charlton and Brentford. I don't blame him for changing it against a team that was likely to park the bus and come for the draw but it's down to him how it played .... the slow, passing, backwards and sideways style was never likely to work. Even without the "creative players", Rovers should surely be able to beat these teams by raising the tempo and forcing errors but Mowbray's teams rarely do. Please don't keep forecasting "easy wins". It's tiresome and Rovers just don't do it that way.
  19. Agreed. So why did you do your usual trolling post before kickoff saying we'd win easily?
  20. The Premier League winning team of 1995 was full of "feisty" characters, according to Ray Harford. Lenighan looks like a lad who would enjoy an argument but most of the rest wouldn't say boo to a goose.
  21. Rothwell in this category too - looks brilliant when he's in the mood but he gives you about one good game in 10. Holtby is another. Dack will give you about one in 3. Payne looked weak and ineffectual with us - seemed lacking in confidence.
  22. Does anyone have a link to league tables based on home and away form ?
  23. Hmmm. I'll take the points first and entertainment second. That's why I always liked Sam Allardyce ! Agree about Mowbray though
  24. Remember Jack Payne a couple of seasons back ? He had that ability. I went to the Oxford away match in the promotion season and he was the best player on the pitch by a mile, and presumably why we took note and signed him. I was surprised he didn't make it with us but the fact he's now languishing in the lower leagues with Lincoln City shows what I know.
