The 2 clubs no one wanted.

Good post. Sums up the frustration felt by many when we see clubs that were out of the Football Leaguer and/or on the brink of extinction a few short years ago get within reach of the promised land while we continue to languish under one continuing "project" after another and an Ewood management clearly lacking any vision or dynamism or basic ability to drive the club forward Burnley and Sheff U are good team but overall the Championship has been weak this season and we could'should have been in the top 6 at least. A huge opportuinity missed

Leicester’s implosion isn’t a surprise. The warning signs for them were when we won so easily at their place in the cup. Rovers played well that night but I was shocked at his poor Leicester were - and they were around mid table at the time. I wish I’d backed my hunch by putting some money on them going down - sometimes these things are so obvious

They’re southern. You don’t “love” southern clubs. I’d rather Burnley upset the “establishment” than the likes of Brighton or Brentford

I’m frustrated and saddened and very annoyed that Rovers also used to be a well run club that regularly gave the so called bigger clubs a punch on the nose but not in my worst nightmares would I ever love Brighton

The "head of marketing" looks like he just left school. He must be brilliant otherwise he wouldn't have got the job, or am I being cynical? He could do worse than copy Bolton's example and study how they've managed to get the fans back in It would be a start

B minus The promised land of the playoffs looked virtually certain but results fell away when it really mattered and in the end we weren't good enough - again We've been out of the Premier League for 10 years plus and never once made the top 6 - meanwhile Sunderland come up from League One and make it at the first attempt. That is a huge and continuing indictment of the club. The FA Cup defeat was harrowing and should not have happened It was a strange season - we played badly and were largely awful to watch for many months yet results were very good. Then the football improved as the players finally seemed to embrace Tomasson's methods but results got progressively worse. Some players have progressed nicely while others have seemingly gone backwards. Rovers have to get it right this summer with good quality Championship standard performers or better identified early and signed early - no more last minute rejects from PL clubs please. And Tomasson has to show he's learnt from this season's huge disappointment

Anyone but Luton please Coventry and Sunderland would hurt too, the former because their fans don't like us for some reason and the latter because of Mowbray Boro it is then, the least worst option

My feelings too I was out all day yesterday and missed all the fun and games and only looked at the scores when I got home Woo hoo, we won, and came from behind too, and I'm sure the fans at Millwall enjoyed it, but in the end so bleeding what? It was our first win in 8, the playoffs chance well and truly botched after a dreadful run, and another promising season wasted and come to naught And Mowbray in the playoffs and Preston effectively scuppering us twice added to the feelings of frustration and disappointment

Yes I know. It just grates to see them and others such as Bournemouth and Brentford and Brighton doing well when historic Lancashire town clubs such as Blackburn, Bolton and Blackpool continue to languish. Maybe it's a north-south thing Funnily enough, for some reason that I can't remember I had tickets for the 1988 League Cup final when Luton beat Arsenal at Wembley. The Stein brothers were playing for Luton. I was rooting for Luton that day because no one supports Arsenal

All those would enhance the current team. Why Tony didn't play Giles in his correct position only he knows. Played 40 games for Boro this season. Good player. Khadra was inconsistent but could unlock defences - a type of player we've been lacking

Luton weren't "great" - and that's the point, you don't need to be wonderful to get in the playoffs, or even win automatic promotion. They're a bunch of solid, experienced performers who've been round the Championship block a few times, and they knew far too much for us the other night. Our defeat at their place was embarrassing
