  1. Why would they say who's taking the team tonight before Eustace to Derby is officially announced. He is technically still our manager. I imagine the presser will have been cancelled and if he's confirmed today they'll say who's managing tonight at the same time as that announcement.
  2. Lampard has found his level i think. Why i'd take Gerrard personally. Not Rooney though.
  3. Had to re-read this part... Talk of his family being closer to Pride Park than Lancashire is a factor Eustace will have considered, but the thought of working for a club - and an owner - committed to backing their manager will be what is driving his thoughts right now, plus the fact that the Rams are a far bigger club than Rovers will ever be. For that reason, it is surely a matter of when, not if, Eustace takes over at Pride Park.
  4. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/24921574.eustaces-first-words-blackburn-future-derby-links/ This sounds a bit more hopeful. Sounds like he's seeking assurances.
  5. Zero mention of it on the BBC coverage so far. Weird.
  6. A full page ad in a national paper from the fans advising any professional manager worth their salt to avoid applying for the job whilst the club retains its current ownership - for the many varied reasons we all know about, but that rarely get spoken about outside of Blackburn, would be quite a statement and might get people talking
  7. Not sure it's a win-win tbh. One club that will soon sink into the mire of mid-table after a promising start was derailed by an abject ownership vs another firmly lodged in a relegation battle with poor players and the transfer window just slammed shut. More of a lose-lose if anything.
  8. Not sure how Chair is still at QPR. Top player
  9. Doesnt look like Armstrong has even signed for West Brom yet? Another club with a wonky fax machine?
  10. Okay but coupled with the original video linked, the perspective of Luton fans seems kinder than you appear to have been expecting
  11. "Good professional who always did his best and scored some important goals." "Scored some excellent and at times important goals for us." "Good pro, who has never shirked his responsibility and never got a run in the team." "Why the need to call him Woodrot? I hoped we'd left that mentality behind."
  12. The comments are all quite kind?
  13. Luton fans here quite generous about Woodrow
  14. The Lancashire Telegraph don't have a clue
  15. Hedges didn't have anywhere near the record Shankland has. Even out of form this season, it's still a player courted by Rangers this window. Lots of experience, international, knows where the back of the net is. I'd be happy with this one.
  16. Would be happy with Shankland
  17. Until the next inevitable injury strikes? You get the all the quality in you can in this league
  18. Feels like a bizarre appointment from West Brom in taking on Mowbray
  19. About as harsh a pen as you'll ever see given but we'll take it
  20. Where's this thunderclap thing come from!?
  21. Marketing team have forked out on Stan Chow doing the announcement artwork. Would suggest they consider this a marquee signing.
  22. Thank God for Weimann. The only natural finisher in the squad
  23. Difficult to view this as anything other than a massive boost to our own playoff chances. Their fans seem unanimously happy about it too!
  24. Think the ref was a Rovers fan
