Feck me, was Gallagher auditioning for a son in law role!?
An absurd comment.
Think Cloughie would have said he wanted his c/f to be a hard, aggressive b@stard who terrifies the opposition and scores feckin goals!
Sacked by Leeds and got Forrest relegated.....

I bumped into Jason in a nice Manchester steak restaurant a few years ago. We were waiting for our tables, having a glass of wine and I introduced myself as a Rovers' fan and how lovely it was to meet him. He was delightful, as was his partner, and spent ten minutes chatting to me and my wife about Rovers. He said he thought the owners having had made mistakes were doing a good job investing in the club.

To balance out my very negative feelings on last night, I guess we have to point to several players coming back from injury, some new players coming in, and losing our best player. And several players still injured.
-
I was hoping for and expecting a rise in performance with a new manager in-situ.
I have a feeling of doom instead. Maybe our players are just crap.

Was that worse than the QPR performance?

just been watching some of it and the appointment of the new manager seems to contradict what Greg Broughton was saying in it "we have a style we want to play and we picked a coach to play that way" I think we may be having a re think of that
What a great film. I may have missed it but surely this is the kind of thing Rovers should be producing to show fans what goes on at the academy.

Lamb cutlets and chianti. Thank the lord.

Biggest win for the club since our promotion. Delighted.

I think with the evidence of
1. Deliberate relegation from the Premier League.
2. Meddling in transfers January 22.
3. Deliberately sabotaging the two deals January 23.
It's pretty clear they don't want to be anywhere near the Premier League.

Grrr.....didn't refresh the page.
A lot better appointment than I expected in the circumstances, he's going to need all the luck in the world working for these owners, Waggott and especially if GB is picking the players for him.
Well done GB for getting in John.

Fingers crossed. I have no way of telling how well John will do, I'm just pleased that we haver a head coach in-situ now rather than in three weeks time.

Assume they want to announce incoming and departure at same time.

I'm amazed the club has found a replacement at such short notice, although I assume they most have know JDT was lining up the Sweden job for some time.

Eustace is the girl you'd meet down the Vulcan, whereas JDT is the foreign holiday romance that was never going to last.

Thanks, I was awaiting that. You never fail.
I'm trying to figure out, of the club's senior officials, who is involved in this conspiracy?

He's got more than one functioning brain cell so the losses would be half as much at least.
Only needs to win it every other year.
I think that's what I said... but worth noting losses at other EFL clubs.

I think by 4 who were there on DD, all presumably employed by the same employer, and all therefore telling the truth.
Glen was reporting what he'd been told.
Yes, we can only give our personal opinion.
Yes, but you think it's some grand conspiracy.

A joke of course, but also worth remembering that our heroes make mistakes, including Jack who appointed Brian Kidd and got us relegated.
