They have won their last two games so on current form you have to think they have a chance. It's all about which teams can put a good run on at the right time like we did last year. West Brom are doing that at the moment. -

No-one has taken me up on the offer of the reduced price spare that I have so it is basically available free of charge if anyone wants it. PM me if interested or turn up in the pub that Scotty mentioned as I'll have it one me. cheers -
No-one is disputing how and why the media works. You however pointed out that the LET is simply reflecting the general feeling of Blackburn fans, which is frankly rollocks.
-
As I said earlier, because the LET is not the club's PR mouthpiece. If there are negative articles, it is because they reflect the general feeling of the Blackburn public. Utter Sh1te as usual. If it reflected the 'general' feeling of the public it would also have articles from people saying how they are really looking to going and what a good day out it will be. Why don't they? Because it's not headline news is it. The LET has dipped further and further in recent years and now feels the need to make pathetic headline's out of nothing stories.

A tad harsh there maybe. I think most of those people are just frustrated because they want to see a full allocation going to Cardiff, don't we all. Agree with you to some extent in that as we don't know how many we have sold it is silly to jump the gun. Me, i'd be happy with 20,000 to be honest. I do understand the reasons why people won't go but can't say I agree with all of them. However Scott is spot on in saying that there is no point at all in slagging off the fans. No-one will read this and think, bugger it i'd better go down as i'm letting the club down. Mostly i'll just be disappointed but certainly not ashamed if we only took say 15k. Let's just concentrate on getting excited for the game and wait and see how many sell. Then we can all argue!

Been offered a family room in the Travelodge in Cardiff on the Friday night if anyone is interested. We are already sorted but the United fan at work who had it booked said he would hold it until early next week so if anyone wants it just pm me and i'll sort it out.
-
Good post Capt and I understand your point certainly re the Arsenal fans although with them having been in god knows how many semi finals recently I can understand their apathy. Similarly we can't be compared to Newcastle as this is there first visit to Cardiff and they are treating as their cup final. I've no wish to slag people off for not going i'm just saying i am a bit teed off with the general apathy at present.
-
Can't really argue with much of that SS. I wouldn't say i'm ashamed but i'm certainly a bit depressed by it all. What people don't realise is the impact it must have on the team. To come out for a semi final and be greeted by 15,000 must be pretty demoralising really. I just hope that we can get over 20,000 but can't really say I expect that. I honestly can't understand what would stop someone going to a game of this nature, it's why you go in the first place surely.

Am I allowed to post that I probably have a spare ticket for this game and might be willing to let it go for less than face value if I can't get the full amount back. If I'm not then delete it but obviously i'm not trying to make any money on the ticket. Meant to say pm if interested. cheers -

You can get the tram directly from Victoria as long as it is an Altrincham tram or if not change at Piccadilly Gardens and jump on one or even an Eccles one for the other side of the ground. -
There is no need at all for people to be struggling to get on replacement buses. Stu has proposed a very good solution which will benefit us all. It will be the same price as the train if we all club together. There must be plenty of us staying down in Bristol so come on folks get contacting Stuwilky and we'll all get in no problem.

I was commenting on the excuse that they cost more than you you muppet. We lost because we weren't good enough no-one was making excuses however Greg rightly pointed out we shouldn't be too down because despite missing a few players that was still some talent out there. Understand? -

Eh? We lost 1-0 to the Champions, it's hardly a mighty fall is it now? How did you get on yesterday? Lost to Sheff Utd I see, says it all really doesn't it. Only a Burnley fan could come and try to gloat after those results. -

Sadly we've said for weeks about Thommo being a headless chicken and contributing nothing to the team. This game was just one of too many for him at present and he is a liability we can't afford at present. -
Actually it does say that but my feelings are that we could easily arramge a minibus or even coach from Bristol so we'll sort that out once we know for sure.

Before we get all carried away with the Dickov bashing, lets just remember who has most likely kept us up this season. Hughes has worked wonders but without the wee man's goals we would be struggling to say the least. Like I have fond memories of Speedie I will also hold the same fondness for Dickov for what he has done this season. Let's not also forget it is the Manager who chooses to play him up front on his own. Personally at the moment i'd play Stead but I don't see the need for the abuse he's recieving, in an ideal world we'd be playing 2 up front but hey ho. We'll still do the Arse in Cardiff on that showing. -
Myself and 3 other members from this board will be be staying the Friday & Saturday nights in Bristol. Oh bugger. Might have change my plans in that case Seriously Friday should be a good night in Bristol.

Gutted, it's ruined it for me.

I don't think Almunia will be playing, or Alumnia for that matter, Lehmann seems to be abck as first choice now. -

I think that's the only disappointment for me. People will compare that to the Everton game but we passed the ball miles better in that game. Tonight we just never passed it well and that was the difference. At the other end Friedel could have put his feet up. -

What's the odds on Sav breaking Thommo's nose before the end of the game. I certainly hope he does. -
They can't have live football on when other fixtures are on at 3pm Saturday. Hence the 12.45 and 5.15 kick offs come from.
