  1. I think some people have a very vivid imagination. Skittling out the top order indeed. Decent performance if not a little comfortable.
  2. Glad to hear you're ok anyway.
  3. I thought you said all message board members were welcome to stay at yours whilst the olympics were on?
  4. Nail on head I think John.
  5. I think the draw was a bit daft. No idea what the point of these extra 3 games are. They will be used to try out the new rules but they were arranged before that was decided so not sure what the original purpose was. I think we've had the appetiser, now we all want the main course.
  6. As long as I don't start threatening to kill them I think i'll be ok.
  7. Are you trying to convince me or yourself? Oh and I read all your posts whilst the cricket was on and stone cold sober. My response to your trolling would have been the same.
  8. So you'll be out till the early hours before turning up in the pub hungover and rough as owt. Usuak routine then. Ben those are last seasons ticket prices. Though I wouldn't expect them to be much different.
  9. No Don you've got confused. I moved to Manchester but still support Rovers. Despite Manchester having a more succesful team. Go figure. Like I said before if you can't take a bit of banter then don't go trolling. Oh and your last post was at 33-5 after which we drew so you did need to come back. Love and hugs seeing as your such a sensitive soul.
  10. No you just posted drivel during the match but then failed to follow up with anything after you'd been proved wrong. As for the South African lads I have no problem at all cheering them on but they are not English. However they qualify so why shouldn't they play, we are just using the rules the same as other countries do. Still not bitter though. I just think that if you are going to try a bit of trolling you should take a leaf out of Jim's book. If you are so quick to lose it when pulled up then i'd give up posting. Oh sorry you said you'd do that already and then changed your mind. Seems to be a common theme with you.
  11. Bitter? Far from it I thought it was a great evenly matched contest. What's wrong hit a nerve did i? You can all the pieces of paper in the world but we all know where you're from. That's why you have to try so hard at this banter, to prove you're a 'real' Aussie I suppose.
  12. As was said in the pub a draw was probably a fair result.. Funny how all the Aussies are pretty gracious except the plastic one who turned his back on his true country
  13. I was thinking Grimsby was much more cosmopolitan than I'd thought.
  14. Beats whining about who we haven't bought today at least.
  15. He means me me you dozy sod. I must also point out that I said I have never 'felt the need' to be rude to any other poster. Quite a different thing from actually being rude to someone.
  16. Jesus, you're hypocrisy knows no bounds does it. Do you never wonder why so many posters take exception to you? People will treat you as you treat them. I have never felt the need to be rude to another poster on this whole board. With you it's impossible not to.
  17. You could have saved any bother and just said you were a c0ck.
  18. Are you really so stupid that you can't see how your post was condescedning if not offensive. Or are you just so pig-headed that you don't care?
  19. Off a different message board but it is supposed to be a provisional set of fixtures according to a press release from sky.
  20. I assume as this isn't a full set of fixtures then i'm ok posting. Anyway apparently this is the early sky fixtures. Might be rubbish but it's an awful lot of trouble to go to if made up. 21. Sorry to be picky Alan but it doesn't indicate that, you're ignoring the 2 that are new members. Basically if those figures were total sales then we would have sold 28 last year but 27 this time around. A drop of around 3%. My point is that whilst I expect some to not renew i'm pleased to read quite a few comments from people saying they are getting new tickets so maybe the drop won't be as bad as feared.
  22. Presumably to get 2 games in it is easier to play Saturday & Monday.
  23. It's still irrelevant as we're in different divisions which start a week apart.
  24. It's a bit tight but Strauss getting out with 10 overs left we'd have probably done it. He had lost all his timing later on which is fair enough after the time he'd been out there and the heat. Really thought they would get the record as well. Maybe Thursday
  25. I had forgotten about the deadlines until my Dad rang and reminded me last night. Anyway I rang up today as I couldn't renew online and I wanted to do it by direct debit. They were cool and said don't worry about missing the deadline just send it in this week and it will go through fine. I know they get a lot of stick at times, from me included, however they are excellent at times. A lot of fans at other clubs are amazed we even get the direct debit option. They really do help out as much as they can at times.
