  1. Do you mean the same type of anonymity that allows you to make jibes, gripes and personal comments about others particularly people involved in the ISA. You haven't answered Stu's question anyway. What is your problem. Is it jealousy or more likely that it's easier to whinge and gripe than actually do something yourself. For someone so concerned that they start a thread on friendly attendances I would have thought you'd jump at the chance to be involved.
  2. Wasn't aimed at you. Welcome to the site anyway.
  3. I think they were going to have a knob of the year award but realised like with certain Grooby's it would be a foregone conclusion.
  4. I think Brett Lee has a great attitude. Just gets on with his game and doesn't bother with all the nonsense that some get up to. He doesn't come across badly at all for me.
  5. The thread is a waste of time but when someone suggests i'm not a proper fan I think I have the right to reply. That's 5 now by the way.
  6. Certainly not the home ones anyway. Like i've said before we never used to have them but I think with the Championship kicking off a week early that rules out games against those sides so I think it has become the done thing to have these games.
  7. The size of our crowds for pre-season friendlies has no link whatsoever to our future survival in the prem. Bolton attracted about 2000 yesterday yet will be sold out most games this year so that tells you all you need to know. It is not even worthy of a topic.
  8. I think you've hit the nail on the head there Shillito. Stuff the fact that I pay £500 for a season ticket and god knows how much on the aways. Stuff all the associated crap I buy because it doesn't count. No, i'm not a 'proper' fan because I don't see the point in going to a pointless game which I would have given the club £15 for the privelige. Might as well return my season ticket then.
  9. I can only just manage to type i'm still so excited. From the depths of despair to utter joy. I know it was a great test but to lose would have finished me and so i'll try not to gloat because I can imagine how the Aussies feel. Credit to the tail of Australia because they were pretty awesome and very frustrating. I just can't wait until Friday now. As SAR says this series really is living up to the hype and that is great.
  10. Like Shillito i'm amazed this thread is even here. Who cares it was a pre season friendly. I've said before that we shouldn't have them at home and this backs that up. Fair play if people want to go but I wouldn't have gone under any circumstances yesterday. The last home one I went to was either Liverpool or Leeds I can't remember properly. Love the away ones, loved the Lancs Manx stuff but these are just pointless. Like this thread really.
  11. As a Lancs fan i'm delighted he isn't in the squad. However after two tests i'm amazed he isn't in ahead of Katich.
  12. Good old Hoggy in with a wicket. Martyn gone 107/4
  13. 82/3 Jones gets Hayden, great catch by Trescothick. Are you doing this on purpose?
  14. Freddie is a legend 48/2 and Ponting goes. Why I oughta... Beat me to it. Who cares
  15. Keep making statements like that Cookie I like it. Come on Freddie!!!!!!!!!!!!! 47/1
  16. Espanyol down to 10 men! Seems a bit feisty from the comments Lee has put up. Oh and we've now hit the post and the bar.
  17. 8/13 at the moment. England 7/5.
  18. Disappointing that Bellamy isn't playing today. Must be a doubt for West Ham at this rate.
  19. You can get 200/1 for draw if you're a betting man
  20. Would have liked a few more naturally but it will take a record to win so if they do that then you have to hold your hands up really. The decisions do even themselves out but Bell was the unlucky one for me, looked set and needed runs so a shame that one. Nice to see Warne applauding Freddie at the end, I think it shows the mutual respect there is between these two teams.
  21. I have a lot more respect for Warne since I started reading his articles in the Times. Comes across very well in those though i'm sure he gets Jim to help him with the long words.
  22. Did Gilchrist play that child at the end of film Shane? I don't think I can cope with another over of his whiny little voice crying Shane, Shane, Shane!
  23. Bleeding hell talk about bad luck, Bell was never out either and now Freddie is injured.
  24. Possibly but 300 should be the minimum aim really.
  25. There is no doubt Flopsy, it was never out, though the first ball he faced was a bit lucky I suppose.
