He has had 82 shots (40 more than Toney, DOUBLE the amount Joao) 2nd in the Championship has had 53 shots. Arma is averaging 5.4 shots per game. If we exclude penalties (scored 3 missed 1?) then it’s 11 goals from 78 shots I.e more than 7 shots per goal. 14% conversion rate feels pretty low albeit I’ve not really compared that to anything.

On a more positive note...I thought Elliott and Rothwell were both superb. If Dack comes back anywhere near the quality we saw pre injury, then I can’t wait to see him play alongside Elliott.

I think infogol said he’s had 20 more shots than anyone else in the league. In a way it’s a compliment to the chances we create and the positions he gets himself in, but god he is selfish. He’s a good player, he’s top scorer in the league, has decent pace and most of the time puts in a good shift too. Tonight was an off night in front of the cameras. Where have those previous 7 games got us? 9 points off the top and 5 off the playoffs. We can go on unbeaten runs but we’re not making a dent in the top half of the league because we can’t beat anyone above us

I’m sickened by this. Stinking night for Arma and Mowbray. Arma - nothing more needs to be said but he was awful tonight, doesn’t have a brain, not fit to lace Rhodes’ boots Mowbray - Playing Johnson for a full 90? Pulling Rothwell off? Can’t have Douglas either, he’s not good enough. I don’t rate Bell but I’m not sure he’s even an upgrade. I think we still have the quality to finish in the top 6 but we can kiss goodbye to automatics by not winning these games.

Johnson should have been off 30 mins ago for Davenport. It was a poor 1st change from Tony unfortunately.

This is how I view it too, they’re side by side, he isn’t pushing him in the back or anything. Both players with arms out side by side and Toney shrewdly falls to the ground easily. Clever after the ref waved one off previously. The Lenihan yellow card frustrated me more. Unnecessary, although the ref gave a straight red for the penalty anyway so it would have made no difference.

Absolutely superb! A fantastic result and will surely be a boost going into the Bristol City match where we are favourites to win. Nyambe, Johnson and Gallagher were all outstanding today, honourable mention to Ayala too who had a good day and Davenport for a solid cameo. Buckley was thrown in the deep end at RB, not the right decision in my view, but he was very good going forward, suspect defensively as you’d expect and that led to the goal. Brentford look a decent way off the quality they’ve shown in last 2 years but they’ll be up there at the end of the season. We were by far the better side for 30 mins and they did nothing after their 2nd goal too. We seem to have a different mentality this year and the work rate has stepped up a level. Always a rollercoaster away to Brentford!! Their current crop of players seem very hard to like.

Worst refereeing performance I’ve seen for 3 days

What happened to Williams? Is he injured? I thought he went to play for Ireland and then caught Covid, but we’ve not seen him since.

Before the red card I thought Trybull, Johnson and Rothwell were playing excellent. What a shame and it’s absolutely killed the game for us. We say it every week but the quality of referees at this level is nothing short of shambolic. But we rode our luck with decisions vs Millwall so all teams are suffering the same poor decisions.
