All those on trial at Wigan are experienced players to be fair, as they're on trial, I imagine they wouldn't cost that much in wages. Too old/injured though really.

To be fair, he's right, central midfield isn't as much of a priority as wide players and strikers. But I'm sure we'd all make an exception for anyone that was available that would improve the team.

He actually said he's be surprised it was him because we have a ton of midfielders, not that he didn't want him. If we could get a midfielder of that calibre (based on how highly he's rated alone), I'm sure we would make a place in the team for him tbh.

Now now, play fair! Anyone would be delighted to have a player of Foden's calibre here, but it's a tad unrealistic at the very least!!

I don’t think they would, loads of people actually wanted us to sign Oztumer. He’d be decent as a squad filler, but other positions are more of a priority.

Fundamentally, re Dack- I’m sure we’d all agree that he’s the best player at the club, so it makes sense that his pay reflects that. Frankly, I encourage that every day of the week!

Whilst we were definitely trailblazers for cheap tickets at one point and compared to other clubs, we are still cheap(ish), we aren't the cheapest at all.

We just really need bodies at this point, preferably ones that can play football like, admittedly.

There's nothing wrong with suggesting first team players. We need players that can go straight into the first team and improve the squad. Squad fillers will make sure we stand still and if we stand still, we go backwards.....

Tbh, the only thing I don't like about it is the sponsor, proper ruins it. Like when we had the Crown Paints box in black and looked like 'Crown Paints FC'.
