To be fair, all the talk about potential meltdowns and 'Positive vs Negative VII: This time it's still duller than dishwater' If we don't have sufficient signings by the end of today, it's not acceptable. We've known for ages when the deadline is. Fair enough if we're signing loans with a view to buy as well, but we need numbers in ASAP, I don't think anyone can realistically argue with that.

Being honest, we need a striker in by the weekend (so by the end of today) as a priority. Along with whatever business we do by the deadline. Strikers cost the most cash, so I'd be happier with us spending our budget on that, but if there isn't one good enough within budget and we have to rely on the loan market, then so be it.....

I think you’re referring to ‘Stockholm Syndrome’ and whilst I know what that is, I know I’ve never used that to describe Rovers fans and their relationship with Venky’s. Though others have in the past, admittedly.

Well, at this stage, we'll probably have to play a blinder to get enough permanent signings in before the deadline, so assuming we don't, then it looks like we'll be relying on loans, which as JH said, isn't ideal. I just hope I'm wrong and we do play that blinder!

Nobody has suggested Moore be sacked, just that it was a poor appointment at the time given he has no experience. I hope he does well and turns it around, but a manager with next to no experience for a club recently relegated that will be seeking promotion ASAP is a big risk. Whatever way you look at it.
