  2. Rules are rules, they aren’t down to interpretation. Offside is still offside, the goal line is still the goal line, if all the ball is over it, it’s a goal. If it was applied as quickly as in other sports, it would work without upsetting the flow of the game. No messing.
  3. It definitely could work, it does in other sports, no reason football can’t be the same. It works in rugby, cricket and tennis well and efficiently. Said it before, but we could always just ring the president of the LTA and ask for the number for Hawkeye...

  6. How complicated would it have been for the head of the PL to call his equivalent in cricket, rugby or tennis and ask for the phone number of the lads that sort out Hawkeye? Tried, tested and successful. Not this absolute shower VAR.
  7. I’m not sure mate, I’m hoping so! It’s been a long time since I’ve played at this venue. The crowd at my usual gig are pretty lairy as it goes!
