  1. Dropping Khawaja when he was on 5, then him going on to score 82- it's this kind of thing that usually ends up being costly.
  2. Shame I've got to reiterate this, but needs must after the last few pages. It's okay to be passionate and have strong views about whether someone should attend or whether someone should boycott or not. It's not okay to be abusive and insult other fans/posters for having different opinions. This time posts were hidden, next time the ban hammer will be dusted off.
  3. There’s gotta be consequences for repeatedly doing your job poorly though, Chaddy. Crawley has consistently been terrible, but there’s never any punishment. Not a good position for anyone to be in (bar Crawley, I suspect he’s loving it).
  4. Crawley's had more than enough chances and he keeps messing it up. To an extent, I understand he's playing to instruction, but like so much under McCullum & Stokes, it's become the definition of insanity at this point. If this series ends up as a Whitewash, which unfortunately, I can see happening, then McCullum and Stokes and their positions are untenable, just like that of Rob Key IMO.
  5. Arctic Monkeys- Do I wanna know?
  6. If he keeps picking De Neve, we'll continue to struggle on that side, as De Neve is so poor at football. I almost feel bad for De Neve himself tbh, it's not his fault he keeps being selected.
  7. Last I saw, Carter was at Freight Island in Manny last night (judging by his Instagram).
  8. Let’s raise the standard- aye, shall we start in the boardroom? Or people from the club not creating fake twitter accounts calling fans ‘spice heads’? A really sneaky move calling ‘criticism’ ‘abuse’, too. Abuse is out of order, but criticism, is to be expected.
  9. Doesn’t matter what type of midfielder they are, if they’re unfit or shite. Useless to us either way.
  10. We did neither. We've been cost cutting like feck for the last few years, feel like you'd have noticed?
  11. They take so long to do anything, don’t they? Making decisions, announcements, sending faxes. Such a set of dithering dickheads.
  12. Getting beaten in that manner isn’t entertaining to me, nah! For me though, there’s a middle ground to be had between a Geoff Boycott style innings and Bazball. It’s the basics we don't do well that are the most costly in my view- in terms of dropping catches and getting out to shots we should be leaving well alone, anyway.
  13. Didn’t strengthen their squad? They spent £450 Million in the summer 😅.
  14. Embarrassing again from us. A whitewash is all they deserve.
  15. Hope we get a fine, or even a points deduction, at this point, It’s embarrassing and shameful, at this point tbh.
  16. It’s so embarrassing, it’s unreal. The fuck are we doing?
  17. Getting out to shots we don’t need to be having a go at, yet again. Arrogance was about right, tbf. We’re beating ourselves, here.
  18. Dropping catches as damaging to our chances, as getting out to shots we should be leaving. I think that's the most frustrating thing with us, we make such a mess of the basics.
  19. Rollercoaster of emotions today. Woke up early and was incredibly concerned at the start, then absolutely ecstatic with Root's batting and in love with the batting from Archer. Took me by surprise, after I'd completely resigned myself to the continuation of an expected batting collapse! How wrong I was. Fair play to England, they ended superbly today.
  20. Woke up and checked the score- initially thought ‘1-1 vs Ipswich, it'll do’. Then I saw it was the second late equaliser conceded in four days….
  21. I think the worst thing about VAR is that they seem more interested in disallowing goals than allowing them. It's over-complicated things which don't need so much thought. Football has already changed far too much for the worse in my view, this just adds to it, for me.
  22. They'll probs still deduct three from us on Saturday 😅.
  23. I think it’s more that people struggle to understand still holding that viewpoint, with the change in their career trajectories tbh.
