People are allowed their own opinions, but there’s definitely an expectation that people should hold their hands up when they get it wrong. At the moment though, people that said he wouldn’t get a move anywhere good, are wrong. I’m saying that’s okay, but to then say ‘let’s see how he gets on’, I don’t agree, I’m afraid. ‘Let’s wait until I might be right again in a few years?’ Do me a favour. He got a good move, then if he fails and ends up back in the Champo on loan, then fair enough, but he’s currently a La Liga player, when some said he was lower Championship or League one at best. I reckon a lot of the posts with people trying themselves in knots, over the last couple of pages could have been avoided, if people just held their hands up and said ‘I was wrong’.
