  1. People went on like he was the new Alf Ramsey, but he never won a trophy, tbf. He did a lot of good, but he couldn’t get us over the line, so a knighthood was pretty generous, really.
  2. Wherever he is, he’s surrounded by money and no medals. Nice work if you can get it!
  3. Two right backs on the bench, Curtis, aware you’re a centre mid, but, today you’re at right back, my son!
  4. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cn9jpx0xjnjo Venky's, this is what trying looks like.
  5. Okay, let's try this another way.... Do you think the coalition are doing the right thing in getting the owners to sell, because the owners have done an awful job since they bought the club, or do you think the owners are doing a good job, so the coalition shouldn't bother getting the owners to sell?
  6. Do you not think they're doing the right thing at the moment?
  7. It's absolutely fine to want to progress academy players, otherwise, what's the point in having one? However, the whole raison d'etre of Blackburn Rovers Football Club & Athletic PLC is the first team. It's pointless to promote players from the academy to the first team, if they aren't ready, all this will do, is hold the first team back.
  8. Literally nothing in my post said you were critical, either. What I did say, as it clearly bears repeating: 'you seem determined not to get behind the coalition' and 'it's a shame you can't support these people'. Show them some support and that you're willing to get behind them, then I'll absolutely hold my hands up and acknowledge that.
  9. You seem determined not to get behind the coalition, which is made up of people trying to make things better for the club. It's a shame you can't support these people, really.
  10. That will more likely include wages and other running costs, but don’t let that get in the way of an instant dismissal.
  11. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2025/jun/03/inside-the-plight-of-blackburn-rovers-this-is-a-call-for-football-to-do-better?CMP=Share_iOSApp_Other Made the national news today.
  12. Nice and imaginative from our top brass. Now Everton away, that would have been a good chance to see a new ground!
  13. He said it in the Fans Forum and in the LT. I think you just need to accept it and move on 🙂.
  14. 'Be back for the night do, lad'.
  15. Attendance is tickets sold, not necessarily heads in the ground. I very rarely go to midweek matches, but I’m always counted as attending.
  16. I mean, it always is- you must feel differently if it’s something you’re highlighting?
  17. Was meant to be June, but a new date of mid July has been proposed. Aware there are loads of views that people should boycott, but if Pasha is cutting off all other communication with fans, I think it’s a meeting that should go ahead, tbh.
  18. Not seeing an invite? Any chance you could send me a PM?
  19. Well then, they won’t be winning much again either.
  20. It’s unreal, there. One of my favourites.
  21. I was willing to overlook the first squad being regressive, as it was his first one, but both of Tuchel's squads have been disappointing in my view. Some past it players included and some bang in form players overlooked, pretty much the opposite of how it should be.
  22. He just can't handle bald lads from Accy.
  23. Because he has absolutely no experience. I think Waggott did a terrible job and I'm glad he's going, but Christ, things could get far worse with someone less experience.
