  1. And yet, you still post on here. Why bother, if you can’t stand it that much?
  2. My God, that guy is a tosser. Petition not to share his tweets on here?
  3. Any other club would push the boat out to keep their best players. Down Ewood, a shrug of the shoulders and on to some cheap Belgian league plodders. Sound.
  4. Uncle Jack was different to all the modern club owners- he was a Blackburn lad, buying his local club, with money he earned from a local firm, making them successful with said money. What a fella.
  5. Had my concerns when we went 2 wickets down, but fair play to the lads, they've dug in and are going along nicely.
  6. He is, but is he a bigger clown than those who hang on his every word?
  7. Do as you please, as long as it's within the site rules!
  8. I've literally always said, I hate people dismissing views as either 'happy clappers' or 'negative'. I like to think I'm always consistent, but I can't be everywhere all at once.
  9. I'm no different to everyone else, I get some things right, I get some things wrong. I can't account for why people think why they do, but I can defend their right to think that way.
  10. You couldn't have said that, even as recently as a couple of years ago about PSG, either.
  11. If people reserved judgment until a certain point, they'd never have an opinion on anything. Who cares if they're wrong? People get things wrong all the time. It's easy to look back on anything with hindsight.
  12. If we can't judge or comment on signings when they're made, we might as well shut the forum down.
  13. Footy shirts are just a mad amount of money nowadays. Over a ton for a lot of the Premier League ones!
  14. Only the Rao family can tell you the answer to that. They certainly aren’t spending it on transfer fees, though!
  15. Not nearly enough of it has, which is my issue. See, we do agree!!
  16. Compared to what we’ve received in transfer fees, what we’ve spent is a pittance, in comparison though. I know that our meagre wage bill doesn’t compare well to our turnover, that’s true of so many clubs. It’s Venky’s fault, so they need to put it right and come up with the shortfall. If they are unwilling to do that, then they should sell the club, it really is as simple as that.
  17. Let’s try this another way, Joe. We sell players for money that doesn’t go back into buying their replacements.
  18. Even if we do make money from them, it doesn't go back into the team, so it's irrelevant tbh.
  19. When you have to sign your contract with Rovers, but your high school prom is at 7.
  20. I suspect because people want to know who’s still here that’s worth any money and still under contract/willing to sign one. Even so, recent history tells us it doesn’t matter how much we recoup from player sales, it isn’t then spent on replacements for them.
  21. There’s more than one way to win a game of cricket and unfortunately, England seem to excel at one and only that, really. When it works, it’s really effective, when it doesn’t, it seems to lead to very heavy defeats.
  22. Lies or conspiracies. Like choosing between a boot to the head, or to the groin.
  23. It’s a fixture announcement, don’t need to overthink it.
