I’m torn between rating people backing their opinion so heavily to the pondering quite how someone in the face of overwhelming evidence to the contrary, still holds that view. Guess we’re all built differently!

That’s irrelevant to the point I’m making though. Mowbray hasn’t got a recent track record of being promoted from this league, Chris Wilder has. I wouldn’t go back either, but money talks and I imagine it will feed his ego too.

Why would they want to appoint Mowbray, if they want to get promoted?

Believe me, I hate our owners, but I still love us winning matches a hell of a lot more.

They've been playing the best teams for years and been getting battered for years, to be fair.

Saw the highlights this morning, looks like we played very well. I think we've got some very good players, but compared to the very top nations, I think we're slightly behind them. I really rate Guehi, but I would agree that Konsa, whilst a very good player, isn't world class. We've got real depth in some positions, but not as much in others, so it would take us over-achieving and having a favourable draw to go the distance at the next World Cup. But, that's absolutely achievable and can be done.

If it was obvious it wasn’t going to happen, is that it then? Or should we maybe try the going rate? Players of ours don’t even need to go to teams at the top of the league to earn their dues, teams finishing below us last season pay more. Doesn’t that indicate a problem above?

The club and some of the fans never cease to amaze me. If the club put half the amount of effort into running the club properly, instead of faffing about making fake twitter accounts winding people up and posting BS, we'd have the best run club in the country. If some fans would just open their eyes, even for one second and start blaming Gestede and Pasha, imagine how much traction there would be in removing the owners. But no, instead- It was JDT's fault, it was JE's fault, it was Travis' fault, please make it make sense.
