  1. The only good thing that happened in that half was Ashley Barnes getting loads of shit from the Blackburn End. Literally nothing else. Absolutely hanging.
  2. Hope he has a good career, but people fawning over him now he’s gone, it’s plain weird to me. Like following your ex on socials after she broke your heart. Probs need to move on….
  3. London, innit. Sure I read before that they make about £3 Mil per home game. Imagine that, for a family with 3 kits they’ll all want on top. Madness.
  4. I’m not saying it won’t be tight, but people saying we’re nailed on for relegation are confusing us with Rotherham.
  5. Not sure that was the ‘you were right, I was wrong’ that you should really have said, but we move.
  6. Enjoyed MOTD this morning, my God some of their defending was hopeless. Their goalie gets a lot of stick, but for that penalty, he really should be saving that.
  7. It’ll obviously be tough, but there’s a reason all those teams are down the bottom like we are, they tend not to be very good! It would take a hell of a lot of things happening for us to go down.
  8. We’ve got Plymouth, Wednesday and Millwall at home that you'd be wanting 9 points from. Not saying it won’t be difficult for us, but for us to go down, the 5 teams below us need to close a 5 point gap and overhaul our superior goal difference. Not saying it’s impossible, but I’d say it’s very unlikely tbf.
  9. It’s quite sad really, whenever we get into a good position, I never really feel like I can enjoy it, as I know what these lot are like. If there was a title for an ability to crush my spirit, they’d be world champions.
  10. Think Liverpool have been referred to as the ‘mentality monsters’. We must be the mentality mice. Softest underbelly known to man.
  11. There’s the Rovers we know. Bed shitter extraordinaires 😴.
  12. As an aside, without looking at the stats, I’d imagine we’ve lost far more games against local opposition than we’ve won under Venky’s and sadly, I imagine Saturday will be more of the same…
  13. Parts of that are absolutely true, but I don’t know how you’re arriving at relegation being a certainty, when we’re seven points clear of the drop zone and two of those teams play each other tonight….
  14. This and the next two after it, some very tricky fixtures. (Cardiff away the Tuesday after and Norwich home, the Saturday after). Could do with getting something here!
  15. None of the Wharton money to be put back into the squad and Szmodics to be sold.
  16. Very comfortable today, good to see the players working hard. Lovely to see normally dependable ex-PNE players missing pens and also to see Stoke’s fans losing their heads after 20 minutes. My suspicion is that it booted off outside the Darwen End after. Also amusing to hear them call somewhere else a shithole and they’d like to go home. A good day at the office today, but obviously the bigger problems remain- but good to hear Venky’s and Waggott out chants, think the tide is finally turning!
  17. I think the inference initially, was that sometimes marginalised players, who’ve allegedly fallen out with managers, have piped up, when those managers have left the club.
  18. Presumably because he’s still under contract and it may concern him, come the end of the season.
  19. Done. Just a note to everyone- please can we have a bit of a deeper search, before electing to start a new thread? There seem to be quite a few threads discussing the same thing of late.
  20. Football is cyclical, the original way will probably come back around eventually.
  21. Louis Vuitton to boot! Lad’s had far too many pay offs….
  22. Sky confirming it before Rovers do. Absolutely fucking sick of the people running the show at Ewood.
