I think this is a cracking summary, to be honest. Like others, I've been critical of his attacking output (numbers aren't great, let's be honest), but he does have other qualities and I think he has looked his best for us so far in that wing back position. It certainly brings out the best in him, in my view.

I got her indoors some vouchers for The White Swan at Fence for Christmas and they were getting close to their expiry, so we visited on Sunday. The food amongst some of the best I've ever tasted. Beautifully presented and full of flavour. The service was attentive, without being overbearing. I will definitely return.

If Rovers are away, I'll sometimes wander down and watch Clitheroe. There's a lot I like about it tbh- having a bev in the stand, the rough and tumble of the non-league and the throwback nature of it all. But, I don't know whether this is due to semi-pro nature of it all or not, but I just can't take it that seriously and when they score, it's a mild clap really. I don't get anything like as enthused as I do with Rovers.

I don’t bother with midweek matches because I start work early. In the past, I’d have arranged a later start, at weekends, I’d move my life around to suit Rovers. Now? It’s very much the other way around.
