The whole product seems to have been in complete decline since the 'attitude era' finished tbh. The only reason there seems to be for anyone I know watching it these days is because of legends being back in it at times.

I think the argument about Jack is a bit of a folly. I guarantee if you ask the average man in the street (not from East Lancs), more people would know who Carl Fogarty was than Jack Walker. Carl Fogarty's appearance on 'I'm a Celebrity' was burned into the public consciousness a lot more recently. (Even discounting his Superbike achievements for the moment.) As much as it was a monumental achievement with JW and Rovers, it was nearly 20 years ago. Heck, many have mentioned Sky's efforts to erase us from PL history in their coverage, I daresay it's been effective....

Just touching on what Gav was saying about the lack of class from Saunders and Fury, hardly a shock though in all honesty. Not really a big fan of how involved Chris Eubank is in his son's career, Junior will never be able to step out of his shadow! I was talking to my Dad about Suarez at the weekend, just saying I don't recall a player being as hard working as Suarez having so much talent as well. If you consider a player like Paul Dickov being such a grafter to make up for a lack of ability, there's no such thing with Suarez, he just never stops! Neymar though, like I said, if he carries on like he is he'll be some player! (Not that he's not already of course!)

Speaking of Neymar, saw a graphic the other day of Neymar vs Ronaldo and Messi at the same age, and he's scored more, assisted more and won more medals than them at that time. So, in theory he could easily go on to be one of the best players ever. Sure we all saw in the last World Cup how much he carried Brazil.
