Went to Wellsprings (Mexican/Spanish restaurant on Pendle Hill) yesterday afternoon. Pretty decent all around, they do 2 for 1 on some menu items on a Sunday as well. The only problem really is the location (unless you live in Sabden), as the views etc would be class on a really nice day sitting in the beer garden, but it's a trek from where I live!

I think for new customers now it's an extra fiver. I'll be honest, given the amount they're shelling out for these TV rights, it will only get higher!

Seems like my decision to get BT Sport when I moved into my house 2 years ago was a good one!

I echo TJ'S thoughts about now tv and Netflix, I would say it's worth it for TV, cheaper than buying box sets etc.

Thing is, it's hard graft working in the food service industry, and knowing people that do and have done, I know just how hard they work! Mistakes happen, as long as when they do, the establishment do everything they can to rectify it, then you can't say fairer than that for me.

I've never done it myself like, if I had an issue I'd sort it there and then (or do my best to), before badmouthing on the Internet like a coward first!

Really poor do that CLB. Anyhow, Restaurants tend to live and die by what is on Trip Advisor these days, if reminded of that they are often found to be more accommodating!

The heavyweight division is dire, and has been for a while, whilst he's bringing a bit more 'light entertainment' he's as daft as a brush.

Went to La Veranda at Haslingden last night. Food good, but the same complaint each time rears its' head. The lack of staff. A half full restaurant, and one waitress!

Very good win yesterday, much better than expected, a nod to Moeen Ali for his bowling as well! Think it was Gav that said it above, the Aussies simply won't be that bad again, and I don't think we've a great record against them at Lords. Still, an excellent win that's to be applauded.
