It seems like everyone's favourite Irish traveler Tyson Fury might be in danger of losing his licence. Based on what he's been saying on Twitter et al, that lad needs checking into rehab or counseling ASAP, he's clearly in need of a fair amount of help and I sincerely hope he seeks that help.

I'd guess that it's because of the etiquette in Golf, where boisterous behavior from supporters, to say the least isn't normal. I think Al had it nailed with his analysis- the USA's putting was unreal, but Clarke IMO didn't pick his strongest side and it was a huge hindrance in the end. The European team have some incredibly talented golfers and they just have to dust themselves down and go again in 2018.

Reading the comments on here and elsewhere online, it seems to me that Fury has lost the drive since becoming World Champ and his heart isn't in it any more. A shame really, I've no doubt it would be hard to admit in public were that the case. The problem is though, the longer all the crap goes on, the more his credibility will be adversely affected....

I must say, I've never really encountered cyclists on the road really, certainly not in the circumstances some have mentioned. (Not to say that behaviour doesn't exist by the way). Motorcyclists smashing it along the road and weaving in and out of traffic is far more hazardous in my view (then, that's another discussion entirely).

I think he died from embarrassment, or food poisoning.......

A few from work are going to the 'Brighton Beach' night at The Grand on the Friday. I can't make the weekend, sadly, two 'birthday do's' on the Saturday night. Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show ticket bought at The Grand in November though! Will finally get to try the fabled Holmes Mill (Bowland Brewery) out that night!

The demographics are only a small piece of the puzzle. They weren't that different about 10 years ago when plenty of bars were open and people travelled from out of town to go there (I.e. Me and many others).

I suppose it's a start, but there's plenty of work to be done to get the nightlife anywhere near where it was. There's a Turtle Bay (Caribbean restaurant) opening in the Cathedral Quarter next year also.....

To be honest OOJW, it's great to see the views of more seasoned boxing fans from myself to pick up tidbits of knowledge for me. I've been watching a lot more boxing over the last couple of years and will always make an effort to watch fights now. Trying to shake off the 'casual boxing fan' label ;-)
