Hey I was pro souness before his act of treachery ! I still maintin he has done a fantastic job but I have to agree now having seen him in his true guise (TRAITOR) I have nothing but contempt for him. He has left my club, our club in a desperate situation after just 5 games.

the other side of the coin is this does souness have any insider knowledge of the background workings of our club ? was he aware of any potential pitfall coming his way ? I am in full agreement that he has left us high and dry and that could very much mean that relegation is going to haunt us. Hughesy your absolutely spot on. BRFC needs an injection of cash or an outside investor. I mentioned this in a previous post that it was time to shake the shackles of The Walker Clan (nothing nasty meant by the way) and invite an outside interest, if anything it may give the club a different dimention and keep us beyond the mid table clubs. its hard to see anyone looking at East Lancs but surely there must be some sort of opportunity for someone.

It does seem to me that if you read between the lines you get an inkling that Hughes wants the job. I wonder if we are all being hoodwinked as Gordon Strachan's name has disappeared from the frontline.

Instead of being at the match I am sat at home recovering after a car crash, earlier on I seriously thought that we could get a positive result today. I listen to the summarisers on the R Lancs show and I cannot take anything positive whatsoever. Why has TP not replaced Flitcroft with Tugay when quite clearly he is not up for it ? Why have we continued to defend like nancy boys ? When will we ever pick up the idea that football is about defedning and not just attacking ? When will the whole football team realise that if you back off you get punished ? By the sounds of it Robert the frog, dyer the monaer and Bowyer the brat have all had field days as not ONE challenge has been made. I cannot wait to read the match summaries of our members who were actually at the game. we are now having to win that match against Pompy who will no doubt come to Ewood thinking that they can get a result. It is going to be a long hard end to the year and Rovers really need to buck up. as for NUFC, well good luck to them I cant see Souness doing anything but stripping the club and running it down.
