Im not too sure on this one. Depends on how much Hughes gets involved I think to be honest as he hasnt got much time with the lads he might leave the tatics and selection to Parkes. I think the reason Wales are holding a press conference and not Blackburn is because it is a national manager. If Sven was set to leave for a club, im sure you would see England holding the press conference 1st.

If rovers want Hughes then they should approach wales and say that he can be in charge for the next 2 games but then after that they will have to find another boss. This would give them 4 months before there next game.

I would never want our club to be merged with some other team. We have our history and pride and surely nobody on here would want Rovers to merge with the likes of Preston. Would they?

Very, very good point. In the Hughes case, hes apparently got a clause in the contract regarding premier league clubs, so surely it must be someone else.
