Not at all. It's economics and the world has changed through coronavirus. Venky's share price has fallen by something like 40% in six months. Both the demand and price for poultry products have have been substantially affected in that part of the world. Having tipped going on for £200million into Rovers and the necessity for frequent share issues to keep Rovers afloat, logic tells you there has to be a tipping point - you don't keep flogging a dead horse (it might be different if they could see Rovers making real progress and really challenging for the PL). Add to all that FFP provisions and, IMO, it's a gloomy, gloomy picture. I posted a few days ago that I think Rovers have never been as vulnerable to insolvency and financial collapse as they are now. Very sadly, it's where I think the club now is.

I think we will see a transfer window that we have rarely seen before with player sales and incomings restricted in the main to frees and loans. I think Waggott and Mowbray will be tasked with raising a minimum of £10million through player trading and slashing the wage bill by £5million (including NI). Next season, IMO, will be one tough challenge for survival.

Think Roy's signed some donkeys in his time but very much doubt he's even heard of Gallagher. Think you've been well and truly reeled in there.......................

Wigan and Barnsley were poor results, however, you shouldn't look back in isolation at games where it didn't go to plan - all teams could do that and the net result would very likely be the status quo in terms of league position. After 43 games, teams are generally where they deserve to be and, IMO, 12th place is both underwhelming and underperforming.

IMO, Mowbray sells bullsh1t and mediocrity and, sadly, some buy it! Progress - our squad is unbalanced, threadbare and with the exception of 3 or 4 players, badly short on quality. At best, IMO, we will only finish marginally ahead of where we were last season. If you think that's progress..................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! As for injuries to key players - all part and parcel of the game. All teams suffer injuries. That's why you have a squad of players. If Mowbray hadn't spunked almost £20million (including wages) up the wall on two, IMO, diabolical strikers, there would have been more resource to have a stronger squad with more quality in depth to cover for injuries. In my book, we are treading water at best and I think we will be in for a rude awakening next season when, IMO, Mowbray's very, very poor player trading record will catch up with us and really bite us on the arse.

Might be better if you refrain from this MB until you learn to spell - there are some good online courses available these days! Sadly, for Rovers, I haven't been wrong about Brereton and Gallagher who I said, IMO, were two donkeys almost from the day we signed them. Race for 6th spot is so unpredictable - so many unexpected results. You can get 25/1 on Rovers for top 6 finish - worth having a punt for the 'he can do no wrong brigade' (get your wallet open Chaddy). IMO, more than a bridge too far for Rovers and I expect WBA to bring us crashing down to earth - we've conceded 9 goals in our last 4 games whilst WBA have netted 9 goals in their last 3 games. Lumped on WBA at 5/6.

You say "I find it a very dower overview to say our academy is overrated". Would suggest you need success criteria to measure your thoughts. Who was the last 'big player' to emerge from our academy since Phil Jones over 10 years ago!?!? I think we've only ever produced three 'ballers' (to quote you) -Duff, Dunn and Jones. We have three regulars in our first team from Academy. Lenihan, Travis (who was only introduced as Mowbray had run out of options!) and Nyambe who again only recently seems to have nailed down a spot as Mowbray seemed to think Bennett was a better option!!! Sadly , IMO, we have a manager who seems reluctant to give our younger player a REAL chance. Might be that most of them aren't really good enough but the only way you find out is by playing them...............Travis being the best example. We lost Jack O'Connell, a very good PL centre back, and he was not given a chance - criminal was that. So, all in all, I think the return from the Academy has been very, very average at best. As a bare minimum, I think you should be producing at least one 'baller' every three years and a regular who breaks through to the 1st team every season.

Yep. Why? IMO, our Academy is overrated. Where are the 18 or 19 year olds who should become 'big players' for us. We have a crop of players going on 21 who I don't think are really good enough. Having dais that, you only find out by giving them a feckin chance. And you want Mowbray to keep his job. Strewth!

IMO, if the Venky's are p1ssed off with Mowbray and they thought there was still a future with their Rovers venture, Mowbray would be axed and replaced. IMO, given the above, the alarms bells should be ringing - are Venky's about to call time on Rovers having seen almost £200million disappear down the toilet!?

Foundations? Under Mowbray's tenure, the club has probably lost close to £60million. Mowbray has spunked fees and wages of £20million+ up the wall on Brereton and Gallagher, the effects will still be felt in the accounts for the next 2 or 3 years. We have an unbalanced and threadbare squad, in the main bereft of quality with exceptions that can be counted on one hand - a squad that will need major surgery in the close season. As for player development, where are the 18 / 19 year olds (the next Phil Jones, Damien Duff, David Dunn etc) banging on the first team door who will become 'big players' for us (other clubs produce them)? We have half a dozen lads going on 21 or so who some folk rave about, however, they have failed to become first team players. In the main, I think our football is dire. IMO, we have no identity. To think fans called Big Sam who left us pushing for the top 8 in the PL. If you seriously think these are foundations, I'm just glad Mowbray didn't build on feckin sand!!!

Stability equals inertia at best. IMO, It reeks of an ambitionless regime seeking self preservation. Phil Neal used to bang on about stability at Bolton - I think it's a con, a cover up for incompetence and the inability to move things forward and achieve bigger and better things. What the club needs right now is a manager with real ambition, drive and a can do attitude. Enough of this, IMO, 'slow, slow build and moving in the direction' - it's total cr@p.

Just what has Mowbray to offer as a DOF? IMO, dinosaurian, no judge of talent and a bloke who's told us he doesn't / can't negotiate with players! I'm pretty certain any new man would not want Mowbray poking his nose in. I think he's had his chance and blown it. Three and a half years down the line and we are barely better than when he took over. Last three performances, one could be forgiven Kean / Coyle were back in town. Whoever succeeds Mowbray has, IMO, one helluva job on their hands owing to, IMO, Mowbray's incompetence not least demonstrated by the Brereton / Gallagher / Raya / Walton shambles.

I think Mowbray's mindset to these last few games will all be about self preservation and finishing as high as he can rather than playing some development / U23 players to see what they can do. Agree with Tom above, as a minimum Walton, Johnson and Gallagher should be dropped - in fact, IMO, loanee, calamity Walton should not start another game for Rovers. Can any of the development / U23 players do any worse than those three? Can see absolutely nothing other than a Cardiff win. So confident of this, I've put all my my £130 winnings for betting against Rovers last week on a Cardff win at just a little better than evens. For those who say you shouldn't bet against Rovers then I would say why not? If we are so poor and it's easy money then you would be silly not to. To be honest, if it would result in Mowbray's departure, I would take a hiding and defeat in each of our last five matches.

Balancing the books is impossible unless we were able to flog players for some £20million+ each season. Sadly, I think we are financially goosed. The three players you mention are decent but NOT PL players. We really are in a mess and given the impact of coronavirus on worldwide economies, it would be no surprise if the Raos did not call time on their, IMO, disastrous venture into English football. I was talking to a former colleague of mine this week who is a corporate insolvency specialist with one of the 'big boys' and he fears for the football industry in particular. I think Rovers are more vulnerable now to financial insolvency and collapse than they ever have been in their history.

It is appalling management. IMO, Waggott and Mowbray have no defence - absolutely shambolic.
