  1. Past hour
  2. Give over chaddy, its not happening.
  3. Yeah, I am a member of the Trust (I assume, never really hear from them, but did get the survey), but I was also "in" The Coalition (again, it's just a few group chats. No formal structure, when I left, at least). I suggested that the fundraising for the action planned by some in the Coalition should be something the Trust undertakes, given it has a formal structure and - implicitly - they were near-enough running the Coalition by that point. The Life of Brian analogy is entirely fair. As I've always understood it, the Coalition is a mixture of fans' groups, independent fans, etc, under one banner. It became it's own thing because of the traction it got. It changed once the overlap with members of the Trust happened, which I felt was cynical and/or not conducive to making progress.
  4. That's why in many ways Ismael is the new Mowbray for them. Bang average, will go along with the club line whether he agrees with it or likes it or not because he knows when things aren't going well he won't get sacked. Tony was happy to plod, Val is happy to stay in one place after 12 clubs in 12 years or whatever it is. So despite what he says in public or what his demeanor is he'll unlikely be saying much behind the scenes.
  5. Presumably you were disgusted at what Reading fans did a couple of years ago?...and Blackpool fans a few years back under the Oyston ownership. Yet I don't recall any swathes of negativity in the press about what those fans did. If anything there was increased support for them and more of a spotlight put on the ownerships at those clubs.
  6. Too late to ruin the pitch, they've already done that for us.
  7. History is full of changes being ‘forced’ through law breaking.
  8. pointless question is better one. who knows what they know. Maybe one of Rovers commentator has told him that or know Cantwell perhaps
  9. Not a bad idea. I think we're at the stage where as many people as possible need to carry out an agreed and organised protest every week. Boycott one week, go in on 18 mins, leave on 75, another, fill the ground on a Venky's out day, whatever. Do as many slightly different things as possible to keep it fresh.
  10. Yes it very much would be something to be proud of. Of course, you’d be the very first enjoying the fruits of new ownership if such actions helped lead to it.
  11. Your idea of invading the pitch is a serious one which is breaking the law?
  12. you think getting a game called off by protesting and running the pitch is something to be proud off, is that not embarrassing?
  13. We've never organised a serious match protest How is giving the owners more money a good solution?
  14. Why would the Pompey version of Neil Yardley have the foggiest idea about a Blackburn Rovers player’s contract?
  15. Have you heard of a rhetorical question? Its clearly not true, Portsmouth commentators wouldnt know that. Use critical thinking.
  16. I always like to read Arbitro’s habitual post match reflections and also Parson’s comments, albeit these appear to be less frequent. A bit worried that even the considered thoughts from these two Board stalwarts appear to be drying up amidst the continued frustration, chaos and wanton destruction of our beloved club. Sad times, indeed !
  17. protests have been done and done, nothing change. As I said before, I don't have the solution but I won't break the law or invade the pitch. The best idea was from Carl this morning but yet again Kidders didn't like straight away and dismiss it
  18. 15 years of this & you still think a win on a Saturday means something, embarrassing
  19. I've said above, concerted and persistent action. Persistence is the key. Once it's started never let up. I'd be prepared to participate in any legal and organised forms of protest if any were announced. What's your solution?
  20. Does anyone know how many fans were prosecuted for going on the pitch vs Oxford (2018)?
  21. I can't remember Mowbray specifically saying that but it does sound like the sort of thing he would have said as he had absolutely no ambition for the Club. A proper manager would have been fighting tooth and nail to keep our better players, operate with a slightly smaller squad or whatever. Not be happily waving them out of the door.
  22. It's basically a rumour started by a commentator and we have no idea where they got that from given it hasn't been mentioned anywhere else. It would be good news if it happened, but it doesn't really change anything in terms of the trajectory the club is following at the moment.
  23. what's your solution Rev? how do you forces owners based in India to sell? Are you going to there getting involve and playing your part in this supposedly action or just sit at home watching on TV as others do it? Can't agree there at all. Winning games is complete and utter relevant under any ownership,
