I'd say the 10k think is correct you have to look at the bigger picture and all the things in it and for now it probably allows us to keep a few higher earners a bit longer, coupled with the squad filled out with lads on far less than 10k. Elements in the equation ... No/severely reduced funding Clubs surviving in the near future on sales income/low ticket sales The need to pull in line future wages to income ratio or risk punishment No players of any real value left to sell. A 10k cap makes perfect sense.....to them not us. I believe Preston had similar a few years but had no choice but to up it in order to compete but we are clearly being set up to go the other way.
