  1. Past hour
  2. You're not. But he still needs shooting (metaphorically) Wouldn't let any of the strikers he's signed do it though.
  3. I'd suggest the reason is they're still advertising this: https://jobs4football.com/job/loan-manager/ Tin pot – nobody in the role to push for moves, so we’re left with youngsters who are either too good or too old for the U21s and in need of men’s football experience, but they’ll be sat on the sidelines for the next four months.
  4. It was always going to be the obvious response we offered them contracts and increases they didn’t want to extend and wanted to move on this is why small statements from players would be helpful because now we find ourselves in a ‘he said she said’ debate with no tangible evidence so fans in the dark again as usual
  5. Not sure that's actually him replying is it....
  6. I'm not going to condemn him for at least engaging , feels very much like Suhail has tapped him in the shoulder and told him time to do your job human shield. It is the climate created that has led to our manager (twice) and then a load of players wanting out after each Jan. The climate of no ambition, that's he's happy to feed into as he plays horse trading , like a Benin Del Boy trying to charge a mark up on some dodgy Belgian left backs he picked up on the cheap, genuine top flight experience, cushty darlin'* *6 sub appearances in Luxembourg
  7. Can’t help but feel like we’re just shooting the messenger by pointing the blame at RG. Sure he’s inexperienced, and rumours suggest that he isn’t the nicest guy, but if/when he gets axed then we’re still in the same scenario we have been since those bozos took over. Edit: if you disagree, please tell me why you think I’m wrong 👍🏻
  8. Are you able to elaborate? If not, how come? Or perhaps I misunderstood your post? To me it suggests that you and Glen have information that hasn’t been disclosed (yet?).
  9. Best Interests of the Club? Players who are committed? Real pro, you hypocritical twat
  10. Hes nothing but a parasite and a embarrassment to my club and to the human race in general.
  11. fans are the “challenge” ah the people who contribute to your wages and sick of the destruction of our club.
  12. Unity, ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah. This guy is a clown, an out of his depth clown. Hey Rudy, get the fuck out of our club.
  13. @JHRover https://oatcakefanzine.proboards.com/thread/309946/jonathan-walters-sporting-director?page=81 Some striking similarities in viewpoint here…! edit - and again, you’ve sent me down a right procrastination wormhole here https://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/queensparkrangers/forum/321389/christian-nourry…./
  14. “Family reasons” 😴😴
  15. He knows Balaji Rao and his people and has done for about 14 years. Balaji made himself quite accessible during the times of protest. I know that J*B and a few others met with him in Manchester but when they got there he wouldn't say anything on the record. I was supposed to be there but was working. Shebby Singh was the same. Jordan Rhodes was pretty much a Glen Mullan signing.
  16. oh the irony of this RPReplay_Final1756803437.mov
  17. Gestede is a cunt thats way out of his league, absolutely no reason why he should have such a high ranking position at the club. What are his credentials? He's not even a Rovers legend, the guy was a prick then, and he's a prick now. Everything thats wrong with the club.
  18. Bit of research on the question you pose. I agree massively with the last sentence that is in bold, and that’s what we should be judging him on, not indulging in rumours about making people cry or enforcing a long sleeve dress code for female staff; Simon Francis had a long playing career as a defender, most notably at AFC Bournemouth. Following retirement, he became an academy coach and then an assistant director before taking on the role of Assistant First-Team Technical Director. Phil Giles has no notable playing career. He joined Brentford in 2015 and is regarded as a visionary for his pioneering use of data analytics in a 'moneyball' style. He is currently the club's Director of Sport. David Weir, a former Scottish international and Premier League defender, is now Brighton & Hove Albion's Technical Director. His career post-playing includes a brief managerial role at Sheffield United and assistant coaching positions. Kevin Thelwell played at a semi-professional level before becoming the youngest academy manager in history. After a spell in the USA, he held Director of Football roles at Wolves and Everton, and is now Sporting Director at Rangers. Gary Probert had no notable playing career but worked his way up as a youth coach and academy manager at Bristol City. He is currently the Director of Football Operations at Ipswich Town. Brian Tinnion, a Bristol City legend with over 450 appearances, transitioned from player-manager to Academy Director and is now the club's Technical Director. Kieran Scott is the Head of Football at Middlesbrough, having previously served as Chief Scout at Norwich City. Steve Gallen, a former coach and scout at Queens Park Rangers for two decades, is now the Director of Football at Millwall. Ben Knapper, who spent 13 years at Arsenal in roles like chief analyst and loans manager, was appointed Sporting Director at Norwich City in October 2023. Neil Dewsnip, a former teacher and Everton academy coach for 17 years, is the Director of Football at Plymouth Argyle. Jon Walters, a well-known former Stoke City forward, has since held Technical Director roles and is now the club's Sporting Director. Gretar Steinsson, a former Premier League defender with Bolton, has worked as Director of Football at Fleetwood Town and held recruitment roles at Everton and Tottenham before joining Leeds. Christian Nourry, co-founder of the Get Football Group, joined Queens Park Rangers as CEO in January 2024, with some responsibilities for football operations. My conclusion to that five minutes of AI supported research is the guy who was most unknown when he started is currently the most successful, weirdly. I would ask “who is that?” of many on that last, which probably suggests that many people walk into this level of seniority at a football club, with differing levels of experience!
  19. That’s what happens when you sign good domestic players.
  20. The day after a talented striker and our best defender were sold and not replaced… says it all 😂😂 amateur
  21. Interesting post on LinkedIn from Gregg Broughton. I imagine he is looking at this situation with a great degree of vindication. In hindsight, he did a good job not just on transfers but also contract renewals. The key difference to Gestede, he didn't seem to be an arrogant, ego driven piece of work (note his praise for others). Rather someone who genuinely had good intentions and wanted the best for the club. Likely why he was shown the door. Sad.
  22. With the variety of player brought in from obscure leagues, connections to kean and close relationship with Pasha it makes you wonder which agents may or may not have their feet under the table. Or Gestede is a recruitment mastermind with European wide knowledge
