Celtic have had about 5 chances in the last 5 minutes, excellent finish to the game, Extra time beckons.

Hopefully they will continue to miss as I am a 'Ger :lol:

Edit: Maybe not. Not sure about the sending off either, slightly harsh, JVOH couldn't outpace Thora Hird so to call it a clear opportunity is a bit much.

So is he solely a RB or can he play in the centre too?

Just a right back.

Interesting that Toure is supposed to be signing for Osnabruck.

I am told he has been at Rovers since Monday.

His agent was there today too.

I know he has been hawked around England all summer.

If there is another Togo international playing in Germany who is at Blackburn and plays right back I will be delighted to find out.

He may well of signed on loan, but if a permanent transfer has come on the horizon then the loan could easily be canceled, especially if there is transfer fee involved.

Some people should stop sniping until they know the facts.

Maybe it would be in out best interests if he did go on loan to that club, we could then sign him and let him have a full season of competitive rather than a few reserve games

Its deffo Toure, whos here its possable a loan move was in place to this other club with leverkusen having a recall option in the deal however i dont think the paperwork for this deal went through and intrest from us has now come apparent to toure who is at the club undergoing a trial.

It could also be that the manager saw enough to decide against the deal...and let him go elsewhere. Or saw enough to 'have him watched' as they say in polite circles.

I only got my info today - the lad was there from Monday.

I can't believe there is another Togo lad at Rovers right now.

But for some reason known only to myself I will try to find out.

Nicko how sure are you that this guy is Bayer's Touré?

The info I have is that there has been a lad from Togo, a right back who plays in Germany, on trial at Rovers. He came in on Monday.

I know Toure was being offered round earlier in the summer, so I thought that fitted the bill.

If he has gone elsewhere after that fair enough.

If it is not him I will find out who it is.

I will find out one way or another for certain later.

Trying to raise his agent and a Rovers source or two.

Without further success.

Gerrard in £31m move to Chelsea

Steven Gerrard will quit Liverpool for Chelsea in a British record £31million deal after Euro 2004.

Skipper Gerrard is going to activate a release agreement he has with chief executive Rick Parry and ask to join Roman Abramovich's super-rich club on a stunning £35million contract.

Liverpool may take Scott Parker as part of the transfer in a player-plus-cash swap deal.

Gerrard and supremo Parry came to an arrangement before he signed a new Anfield deal that he could be sold at his request if the club did not make 'considerable improvement' last season.

That gentleman's agreement will now be used to clear the path for the most sensational move of recent years. Gerrard will team up with Frank Lampard and has been promised a regular starting place in Chelsea's all-star squad.

BTW Gerrard did agree to sign for chelski, but pulled out after he & his family recieved death threats ( and pool upped his wages to the 100k mark), so Niko was right, he was about to join chelsea

Voxca appears to be my brother and has come on here to wind me and everyone else up, i didnt realise it was him as he is in the other room and voxca didnt ring a bell, sorry for all this and if you would like me to leave il respect your wishes.
