Has he mentioned anyone else.

Are there any other right backs beginning with 'O'? I think Ince has them all covered.

Half of the press are reporting Carlos has "100% signed" and yet there still isn't an announcement from the club. I trust the club over the press but it's a bit strange if he's received his work permit.

its BS. they have been watching roversworld, where ince pretty much said carlos was ok, but the chairman had some paperwork to sort out.

so off the record he IS on, but officially he is not 100% in yet. i hope it is done FAST as i cant rest on this untill rovers.co.uk say he is with us.

We should use his move as a smoke screen - release a headline saying it has hit a hitch and then next thing we should announce a big name midfield signing!!! :lol: IF only!

I'm probably way way off the mark, and I have no idea why this name popped into my head.

But when Nicko said "interesting" the name Gary Neville struck me. I pray to god I am wrong.

and I hope when nicko said there might be a reason why were signing him it isn't coz santa is going to utd!! :(

I don't think Neville will ever leave Utd, and at this stage in his career he wouldn't be prepared to take the massive paycut he would have to if he wanted to join us.

oh i agree i never want to see his little grimey face in a blackburn shirt, and he isn't interesting, you're correct. But I could see why it would be an 'interesting' deal.

But i hope I am wrong.

Don't like hearing "surprise" and "maybe not the only right back coming", seems like a squad player. Not that I'm judging him before I hear his name, obviously ;) Anyway, I was hoping we could bring in ONE classy right back, and keep Emerton / Ooijer as cover - but if Skippy is going to play right midfield this season, and Ooijer leaving / covering a central position, a 2nd choice is needed. Not a big money move then, Nicko?
