If you play in a team that is very good they can carry poorer players. For Wes Brown he didn't even have to play much to get most of those. As for 23 England caps it just shows how biased the selection process is towards players that play for Man Utd.

I agree with you, but I'm not sure Venky's want to part with any money, let alone Keane. I hope I'm proved wrong but with the current squad and no new bodies coming in, this time next year we will be talking about how to get out of the championship.

In the know rover here, just heard from a reliable who works closely with balaji we are very close to signing damien duff from fulham on 3 year deal for 2.75 million. This the first time ive posted from my source and she was right with goodwillie and petrovic so i trust him. Dont shoot the messenger! Good signing cant wait to see in a rovers shirt again. :D

If venky's have no interest in putting money into the club then the question is why did they buy Blackburn Rovers,was it simply to promote their chicken products or to sell our best players which they have done and i expect Samba to follow very soon and replace them with very cheap or simply no alternatives,Kean is not a manager but a yes man.

Don't think it was purely to promote there chicken, would be a very expensive way of doing it and a lot of hassle. They do need to start releasing some money and fast! We desperately need a new cb, what's happened with mongongu?

Let's just hope a new striker comes through the gates by weekend, its strangely quiet so let's just hope there doin business behind closed doors and not doing no business!

Duffer I would certainly welcome back, but surely a CB and a scoring striker should be priority?

Never seen him in action and is definitely unproven at this level. A signing I would welcome, but not as our main striker.

Kadlec is quality. He'll be a massive star in the future, but right now if we do sign him, I wouldn't expect any more than 10 goals. He is only 19 and has a heck of a lot of potential, but from what I have seen of the kid, he could one day be a world beater.
