Hasta Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Not saying that you are wrong but someone should tell National Rail Enquiries.
Stuart Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 http://m.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/news/14169047.No_trains_between_Bolton_and_Chorley_after_landslip_on_railway_lines/
only2garners Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 It was on the National Rail website 2 hours ago, complete with a picture. I imagine that if you call up you will be given travel times because there will be buses running on the route.
martonrover Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 Anticipated the line will be operational again at some point tomorrow, but no estimated time. Obviously you have to allow extra journey time with the replacement buses, (check times before travelling in the morning).
Paul Posted December 27, 2015 Posted December 27, 2015 I wouldn't bank on trains running tomorrow. This is from National Rail at 18.15: Manchester - Preston via Bolton A landslide at Chorley (a picture can be seen here) means that trains cannot run between Preston and Bolton. Buses are replacing trains between these stations. Some trains will be diverted via and call additionally at Wigan North Western I'd planned on using the train but knowing how long the bus takes will be driving.
ABBEY Posted December 28, 2015 Author Posted December 28, 2015 The line has just been reopened appperently
