Bassey, Oshimen, Chuckweuze normally play for them, all are starting today.  Looks like the left back and one of the midfielders also started their last game

It may well be a rotated team, but doesn't look completely second string

The usual all action performance from Ryan.  Heart in the mouth moment when he was sent crashing in the backboards but he seems to have recovered well. Playing himself into the next game as far as I can see.

Nigerian fans seem impressed with him going forward but unsure about his defensive traits. Could see him as a starter soon enough

Maybe, but maybe the saving grace is he was English when we signed him, so maybe they didn't bother including that clause

Personally I think it would be negligent for a selling club not to include such a clause in every transfer deal, just in case

He did nothing wrong today playing as an orthodox right back. He still got forward on several occasions. If he gets left out for the next game the lad that replaces him must be a good ‘un.

I was impressed with the Nigeria outside left, Simon. A poor man’s Jeremy Doku.

Hope we didn't do what I often do on FM, and slap a big fat clause for an international cap to save me a bit of dosh knowing full well he will never get a cap for such a big country...before noticing he has a second nationality.

Might have added a few bob to his transfer fee, but one thing is for sure, he won't sign another contract for us due to the international appearance. Someone else will pay him more.

That was a given on the day he signed

The only players who sign more than one contract with Rovers anymore are those who come up through the academy, and that's because their first couple of pro deals cost the club no more than £2K/week

I don’t know when that happened as he played the whole 90 odd minutes of the game. There was an incident in the first half when he was sent sprawling into the hoardings behind the opposing goal by an opponent who caught him off balance.  However he played on after that bad fall. I expected him to be subbed at half time after that but he stayed on.

I wouldn't have thought a Kent exile would struggle with a London accent! Until I clicked I assumed he must have reverted to pidgin English. The background noise makes it tougher to make out though. He gave his Nigerian name, that I can't spell, said he liked what I think was a Nigerian dish that I can't spell, said he grew up in Arsenal's youth academy (slightly odd turn of phrase to say he grew up there but hey), and that he likes to sing and makes music on the side, but doesn't release it.

He was supposed to give 5 things people didn't know about him, so the 5th one was 'I fucking hate Venkys' (I wish, he couldn't think of a 5th one).
