Very much doubt we will see Ryan in a Rovers shirt again.

On Saturday, Nigeria face Algeria- the only two countries with a 100% win record at AFCON. If Nigeria win that, they will be hot favourites to win the Trophy on Sunday 18th.

Hopefully that gives enough time for Ryan to pass his Everton medical and for Rovers to use some of the proceeds in this window.

He's only played 1 game in the tournament

The last Group game in which he got a deep gash which kept him out of the Round of 16 and might not be healed by Saturday.

There was one article saying Everton have an interest in Alebiosu and that makes you think he has gone?

Moyes has said Everton are unlikely to be signing anyone this January.

I don't think they will sell Alebiosu this window, and not at the 4 million suggested. He be gone in the summer

I watched that game Phillip. He played every minute. There was no sign of a “ deep gash”, no blood soaked sock etc. Maybe he slipped in the showers !

Not sure how much of the last four years you've missed but Rovers do not reinvest money received from transfers.

Nigeria 2-0 now

Yeah, they’re a  good side. All big fast and strong guys.  Strength right through the spine - Bassey, Iwobi, Oshiem. I like the look of the left back as well, the lad Bruno. A good no nonsense fullback who can attack if need be. The right back had a good game as well. Barring injury I can’t see our boy getting another game

The right back is Osayi-Samuel from Birmingham who the Nigerian fans don't seem to rate (who like Alebiosu is only in the squad because of injuries to Aina at Forrest and someone else)

After Alebiosus game in the group stage, there seemed to be noises about him taking Osayi-Samuels spot in the team for the rest of the tournament, however Alebiosus injury seems to have put an end to that.

Osayi-Samuel had a good game today. He’s not as dynamic in attack as Alebiosu but he’s very steady in defence. Not a lot  to choose between them to be honest. However I can’t see them changing a winning team,  barring injuries.
