[Archived] POSH on Saturday, fan tribute

[POSH in peace]

Hi chaps, POSH fan in peace here.

For those of you coming to London Road on Saturday can I just give you a heads up about a minutes applause we will be having on the referees whistle to start the second half.

Andy Mills was a massive fan of the club and someone who had such a knowledge of all things POSH he helped out as the unofficial historian.

He sadly dies a couple of weeks ago after fighting a brain tumour for 3 years but after watching his beloved team beat Pompey he went home and passed away in his sleep.

As proper football fans I realise you don't need asking but we'd be grateful if the applause was respected and eternally thankful if you joined in.

Hope you have a good day out, Charters on town bridge your best bet for a pint unless the old bill bung any train travellers in Drapers Arms a Wetherspoons that does do a good selection of real ales and is better than most pubs in that chain.
