  1. I would also guess that you would have to be connected to a VPN when you are streaming the match. This could have one of two effects. 1. If you are using a free VPN, the chances are that it will be VERY slow which means the picture might either be crap or buffer a lot. 2. If you are using a paid VPN, you may have to pay quite a bit to have unlimited traffic as a video stream over 46 games would be quite a lot. For example TunnelBear would set up back a further $9.99 per month or $59.88 paid upfront. The part that still concerns me is if they let you pay for the year and then block you later for using a UK based payment.
  2. Once you've signed in, go back to the drop down menu for ifollow and choose subscribe from there. It appears if you choose to subscribe from your account details page, it tries to use a credit card on file.
  3. and it's £4 cheaper buying in £ through Hong Kong than it is in Euros via France!
  4. Yep, just tested with TunnelBear and if I tunnel through Hong Kong, the cost changes to £110 and the PayPal option appears. So PayPal also looks like it is location specific. All very odd.
  5. Yep, already registered for the Free Pass.
  6. Odd, not given PayPal option here (VPN via France). Only Visa, Mastercard or AMEX.
  7. It would only allow a single login, therefore the first person to login would be fine and everyone else would be denied.
  8. They'd just only allow one logon per userid.
  9. I'd be happier to give it a try if it had a monthly payment option, something that didn't waste €130 in one go if it's going to eventually block us.
  10. Doesn't the Free Pass give the same access at home or abroad though?
  11. I was more meaning the fact you seem to have to pay by credit card and therefore need to provide your billing address. Therefore, us in the UK would have to supply our UK address which *could* theoretically get us blocked from the service (if they put the effort in)
  12. Definitely, worth it just for the away games. I'm hoping they let the VPN issue slide as this is the best move to actually engage fans would like to see their team and its rare (unless you are Leeds) to be on in the Championship let alone League 1 and 2.
  13. I'm tempted to sign up. It's 130 Euros but I'm wondering if they check the billing address... Looks like it's £45 without going through the VPN which will give you pretty much what RoversPlayer did.
  14. Ah. I've now watched episodes 12 and 13 and now it all becomes clear. I now feel a little guilty for doubting her. I wonder if season 2 is going to now focus on the other sides of the stories. They all mentioned that she wasn't 100% telling the truth and that is evident from the note that Zach kept and didn't throw away. Also, I guess it might focus on what happened to Alex, I don't think he shot himself as the photographer guy had an "Alex" flashback before taking his photo down. Guess I'll be watching season 2 when that comes now!
  15. I watched episodes 10 and 11 last night. 10 was woeful with a pointless story line about the stop sign. Who in their right minds would have ever reported knocking that down let alone fretting about it so much. Also, if it had been reported, the other incident would still have happened in that short space of time. The only good thing about episode 10 was the set up to episode 11 which is FINALLY Clay's story... However Clay's story is a damp squib of an non-event. I hope Eps 12 and 13 wrap it all up nicely. However I now have my doubts as I see it's been renewed for season 2 and Hannah might even be back in it. WTF?
  16. I've only just finished season 2 of Fargo which was great but the UFO was just nonsense.
  17. Yeah, everything so far has been petty little things and she was a right bitch (I thought) to Zach. As you say, she so far hasn't talked to anyone and seems to have a good relationship with her parents. It is compulsive viewing though.
  18. anyone watching/watched 13 Reasons Why on Netflix? I'm intrigued by it but 8 episodes in I can't just help feeling the main character is just a drama queen and I'm losing sympathy for her.
  19. That sounds like a fantastic cinema Paul. I'm glad some have started to differentiate as the boring Vue/Showcase/Odeon types are just expensive with no unique selling point. And as for Guardians of the Galaxy 2, I really enjoyed it, I just felt it was missing something but I can't put my finger on it. Think I will need to watch it again.
  20. Yep, Had my legs crossed for a while there!
  21. I've not read the book so had no idea what to expect. I'm still going back to carry on watching and as odd as it is, I kept having to start the next episode as the end of each episode makes you want to know more.
  22. I suppose I should turn my phone off. Currently at a lovely cinema in Beverley complete with a Budweiser to watch Guardians of the Galaxy 2. So civilised.
  23. Anyone watching American Gods on Amazon? I am on to episode 3 but still not convinced. Very strange.
  24. I've liked all the Civ games over time, some more than others. My Dad prefers Civ IV over Civ 5. Personally, I'll wait until it's £5 or in a Humble Bundle like the rest have been recently.
  25. Wow, that sounds like China. (and even they can't stop people breaking through the "Great Firewall of China")
