Knoche, Bell & Papadopoulos are pretty high profile players in Germany, all been linked with bigger clubs in their careers. All likely to be on decent money that will likely be out of our price range. Stambouli will probably move somewhere on decent wages too. I'd say the bottom 7 are most likely the 7 we're looking at.

I'd say 0 chance of that happening, Mulgrew is 100% going to start. I'd rather not see more players out of position but I don't trust Bell that much that I'd rather see Downing. Preferably would have had Hart there, I have a feeling Mowbray would have picked him too.

A back 4 with Bennett and Mulgrew doesn't make me feel we can win any already. I already know Mowbrays team selection is going to p*ss people off, he'll do something idiotic thing like put Rothwell on the bench to accommodate Gallagher.

Imagine calling other Rovers fans "clueless" for thinking a player like Nuttall is poor. Based on his first team performances there's nothing to suggest otherwise.

Its not wrong for people to judge on how we've performed in the window so far and how they've prioritised expenditure on certain area's. I'll be happier once centre halves have been brought in but the likelyhood is that these will be unproven signings in the most important area that we needed to strengthen. We'll probably be unable to pass judgement on how successful a window it will have been due to our lack of knowledge on the players likely to come in... It all seems back to front and people are right to ask questions. I'm trying to hold my breath until the end of the window but I can't help but be a bit miffed on the lack of urgency in defensive signings given our season's early games.

I think I'm just going to try and wait till the end of the window before passing judgement, he gives off so many conflicting intentions I just can't work him out anymore. He's doing my head in but if he pulls off a couple of cm decent defensive signings then I'll be pleased.

I can accept less goals if his performances are still good and more players are scoring goals. For too long we've been reliant on individuals to score goals rather than sharing them around.

There are a few that don't have chants, Lennihan being another (unless I'm not aware).

PREDICTION: Dack is going to be our flop of the season, will start every single game ahead of other players deserving a game. Won't score double figures. I don't mean to p*ss on people's chips but I can see him being a problem this season. Especially if he picks up where last season left off. He looks like he's lost his drive and creativity, the key things that have made him what he is at Rovers, looked to be going through the motions last 10 games I've seen him. The apparent change in style of play won't help, potentially less time with Graham to play off will make him suffer. Both Graham and Dack look lost when not playing with each other. I hope I'm wrong and he bangs one in first game of the season.

Rothwell being a starter or not is one major thing making me delay getting a season ticket. I don't think I can take another season of watching his talent stagnate on the bench.

Would have loved to have seen him and Trav in the middle this season.

What's crack with Harrison Reed? Has he actually played in pre season or remotely look like he's going to get a game for them? Not that I expect us to sign him but if he goes out on loan again he will be 25 years old by time he goes back there. Crazy. Surely sh*t or get off the pot with that one now?

This is weird, I was randomly showing my partner some of his other work yesterday. He's a friend of mine and a really decent lad. We went to school together and listened to hip hop tapes on the bus home from school. Not seen him for a while but always have a good chat. It's funny how quick people are to mock just because they don't get it. The scene he's involved in is a good one but you're not supposed to take it too seriously. He doesn't pretend to be someone he's not, he represents his accent and his roots, even if they're not considered cool but at least it's real, many of the guys from his scene are the same... Same can't be said for a lot of the fake, money grabbing, manufactured artists out there. Yeah it's not polished, yeah it's a bit of a laugh but it certainly doesn't mean it's shit. I'm proud of him. For people who want to know more, I liked this one he did in 'Cult of the Damned'.

Definate hyperbole but he would be a usefull player for us.

Need clubs to take them first. Plenty would want Mulgrew but not many could pay his wages. Same goes for Evans. I think Williams at centre half is pretty decent, he gets a lot of stick because of his performances at left back but he's not a left back.

Words to that effect, I sem to remember him saying that he expected other clubs to be in for him too and the fee might be an issue... I could have well made that up.
