  1. Only 19 pal. People were speaking about Gallagher like he's the finished article, he and Brereton are nowhere near. This would be a great group of players for those lads to develop in.
  2. Number 1 is Bradley Dack, number 2 is Bradley Dack, Number 3 is Bradley Dack...
  3. I can see what you mean tbh... Even if they were sold for profit it would be swallowed up by the debt the bastards have accrued.
  4. Has to be an option to buy otherwise look elsewhere. Perhaps agreeing a fee is the hold up else a simple loan would have been done by now.
  5. Folk are starting to notice... https://www.joe.co.uk/sport/this-stat-suggests-bradley-dack-could-be-the-best-player-outside-the-premier-league-194902
  6. Cheers for the report. Really interested in Rothwell, far too long we've had wishy washy centre midfielders with no defining characteristics as footballers... This lad seems to have some ability on the ball at least. Hopefully gets more opportunities for us, Mowbray seemingly rates him.
  7. Agreed, in fact it more or less confirms that he's not in Pulis first team plans for the league. If it's going to happen I can see that one dragging out till last knockings.
  8. To be fair, it was rumoured they wanted 7 million but did anyone actually sign him? A player is only worth as much as someone is willing to pay. Take Armstrong for example, Newcastle dangled him out on transfer list for double what we wanted to pay with no takers so we got him at a more reasonable price. They're just playing the game, don't blame them but they will be lucky to sell him for 3 million. He isn't going to get anywhere near the first team to drive his price up either. Similar one to Armstrong this one, I wouldn't be surprised to see it pan out a similar way.
  9. People seem to discuss Gallagher like he's the finished article... Lad is 22 years old! Lots of time to develop, loads of potential.
  10. Think both are decent but surely can't be expecting massive offers there... If any!
  11. I think that's what everyone is screaming for tbh...
  12. Rich Sharpe literally has just ruled it out too... ?
  13. Think he'd play wide of a 3 no problem to be honest. I think he'd more than hack it in the championship.
  14. On loan I think that's a sensible use of the loan window. Given his size and his ability when fully fit, he should be able to score goals for us but it's certainly not one you'd sign permenant at this point.
  15. Sharpe on loans... "few being worked on - no surprises who they are. Speaking with TM this lunchtime so will see if there's any update." Sounds like Chapman and Gallagher.
  16. Game time is what players would find attractive I guess and it appears the manager seems to have some pull in these situations given how most players openly discuss him being a reason to sign. If we can get further up the league it would probably help too.
  17. Just to clarify, are we talking this window?
  18. Can see this being dependant on them signing a wide player.
  19. Having had a quick look, Chapman was in the squad with no Fletcher, Huggil or Gestede in the squad... He's not getting a kick for them as it is, never mind when they're fit! Add the fact he's in the last year of his contract, I can't see him signing another one for them.
  20. Harry Chapman on the bench with no minutes again today... Surely something can be done there.
  21. People put too much emphasis on when or how you sign players... It doesn't really matter. If they're good enough then they will show it. At least if someone comes in now then they will be playing for their move and if their attitude doesn't fit and they don't integrate into our team spirit then they can be easily got rid of without stinking up the dressing room for the length of their contract.
  22. Would he have to settle for coming on for Graham? I'm not so sure. If you're trying to bring players in then you're looking to improve on what you have surely? If Martin made more impact then I'm pretty sure Mogga will have Graham on the bench.
  23. Was looking forward to going with my dad but totally forgot that we have my niece birthday party to attend... Does anyone know if this is due to be broadcast anywhere?
  24. I get what you're saying but perhaps the thinking is if you go in low then it might drive the top end price down... Anyway, it hardly matters. I have no problem with the club sticking cheeky offers in just as long as you can get something out of it at the end of it. They did well to get Armstrong at the price they did, it was dissapointing not to bring in more but we can still strengthen the squad for potentially better value for money in loan buy agreement... I just feel people are making judgement too early.
