It's not just that, the attack doesn't make any attempt to hold the ball up. They either get the ball forward and have a shot or lose it. Usually they lose it. No old head in midfield, and lacking a centre forward.

Millwall are absolutely dire. If we can't get a result against Millwall then it's time to give up.

We've no striker and no one experienced in midfield. Not entirely unexpected.

BBD and Armstrong aren't great examples of what the club needs right now. I mean players who can come in and score goals from the off, not players to develop. Like Rhodes or Gestede.

They'll sign a bunch of kids and a decent player from league 1. Broughton will talk it up like he's selling us a used car. It'll be reported we were in for some seriously decent players at this level. Then they'll go and sign for Rotherham on loan. I wouldn't get your hopes up.

We've got a lad upfront, on his own who hasn't scored a fucking single goal in this league. That's the answer is it? When will the club sign a fucking player who can score goals? How many years is it now? The ghost of Tony bastard Mowbray still haunting us.

A striker learning their trade in this league is not what we needed right now, after what we witnessed in the second half of last season.
