  1. It's more that opposition managers have realised they have nothing to fear because TM doesn't believe strikers are necessary. He's got it into his head that wingers, and now defensive midfielders, can do the same job.
  2. It's simple, by playing without strikers Mowbray has given opposition teams absolutely nothing to worry about, which allows them to commit more players and attack.
  3. We played Gallagher at fullback. I didn’t need to imagine it.
  4. His younger brother. Aberdeen head of recruitment. https://uk.linkedin.com/in/darren-mowbray-86a451a8
  5. It's the same with Brereton, he's two weeks off coming back. I'm sure both will score goals in the future but we're quickly running out of games and expecting two players to come back from injury and start firing goals in again. You'd have thought Mowbray will have recalled one of the strikers he sent out on loan but I imagine he's still thinking we don't need strikers, it's not the way we play.
  6. The world has gone mad, I don't know if you've seen the news recently. Mowbray has been mad for some time.
  7. That sounds like he's happy because those players, although useless right now will score goals in the future. So that's our striking options going forward. Someone might want to tell TM Poveda isn't our player. So next season our attacking options will be Dack (midfielder), Hedges (winger), Markanday (winger), Dolan (winger), Gallagher (wanker).
  8. Then he went to Stoke on a short term agreement. Reading those reports, it's just paper talk based on TM wanting him in Summer.
  9. He'd have said why are you signing dollopers from Aberdeen. Why spend a wedge on a kid from Tottenham (along with £500,000 in add ons) when we need a goalscorer and don't have much money. Are you actually planning for Breretons international duty? And why? Why the fuck are you giving that donkey a new contract?
  10. I don't think I'll be watching the next match. Otherwise I may spontaneously combust. TM is the most infuriating manager I've ever known, and his team mirrors his personality.
  11. The question now is, can the players get into the play offs despite Mowbray's influence? Despite two and a half months of Mowbray madness we are still fourth. Sadly if they do I'll find it difficult to give Mowbray's contribution any credence because he appears to have actively sabotaged the second half of the season.
  12. £3m may have been agreed in Summer but the fact is he went to Stoke on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season. TM had moved on, he said he didn't want a striker as they won't work the channels. And that's how we play now. Venkys have been awful for the club, but the villain behind this momental cock up is all Mowbray. He was already a villain for signing Gallagher for £5m who has been a near constant disappointment. Then giving him a new contract. Imagine what a difference £5m could have made. We could have been giving two or more decent players a new contract right now. If we don't have money why is he spending £200k on Hedges and giving out contracts to strikers who can't score and contribute little to a season. I'd even question the signing of Markanday at this present moment. Those two players alone were £700k, then add on Gallaghers contract, Brownes contract, Giles contract (who I like but hasn't impacted results one bit), Zeefuick's contract. He should have just bought a fecking striker or a goalscoring midfielder.
  13. And the reaction from Bristol was near instant.
  14. It's on their official website Gav. They've got an option to buy. There's even a separate interview with the guy saying he hopes to make an impression so he can get a permanent move.
  15. He was on the original team sheet and came out of the tunnel. After that he wasn't on the BBC app, and any other site that has football stats. I assumed he was injured in the warm up. BBC Sky
  16. I hope Mowbray has that on his conscience, because I doubt he'll shed any remorse for any of the other daft decisions.
  17. Stoke don't need to sign Maja at the end of the season.
  18. I fear you'll soon be saying that about the Season.
  19. I've had my fill of Tony Mowbray now. His dealings in January were amateurish at best, and as a result him scrabbling round spinning his tombola to try and make things happen are equally that of a man completely out of his depth.` We're getting beat by poor teams because he had a bonkers idea that we could play without goalscorers.
  20. He could have got him for 0 had he waited till Summer, but was that desperate to bolster his attacking options he parted with £200,000. Then doesn't play him.
  21. The lad from Spurs isn't a striker at all, he's a winger from their youth team. I'd be interested to know how much Stoke are paying Maja if money was such an issue.
  22. Well said. And in the second half he had the opportunity to play in a more conventional strikers role. The guy is a poor mans Ashley Ward (😳).
