  1. Did Dolan have a flashback and think he was playing for them?
  2. But even when they do need to tap it to each other they seem to have completely lost the ability and give it away.
  3. Sheffield Utd - but just a glance at one of their fan forums would have told anyone who can read, he's an absolute wreck.
  4. How have we gone from a decent passing team to a bunch of aimless cloggers? Less passing shouldn't mean shit passing.
  5. That technique that Brittain has where he limply raises his leg to stop a cross going in. I can predict we'll see a lot of that.
  6. It seems to have come as a surprise to some that Eustace isn't a magician. Face it, we have a poor squad thanks to a coward CEO and poor owners.
  7. Tronstad gets a yellow card thanks to Brittain not being able to pass a ball to someone right next to him in a neon yellow shirt.
  8. I reckon they'll give him about £2m to give the impression of an effort, but we'll sell Smodics for £15m.
  9. In the second half you could see they weren't putting in as much effort as the first half and I reckon that's why Eustace came down to the dugout and started to make changes. Until he intervened I was terrified we were going to end up conceding more goals. The problem with our players is they don't want to play 90 minutes. Maybe it's a fitness issue but under Mowbray we'd only play one good half so maybe a mentality issue.
  10. Some of Brittain's performances have been appalling. It's easy to say I was shit but it was the other guys fault. He was the only one controlling his body when he couldn't pass or defend properly. Same with Gallagher, he was very good on Saturday winning headers, but in the game against QPR he assisted the opposition by barely getting off the ground. I'll be interested to see if they keep it up for Eustace, or whether they can't be arsed again when the going gets tough. They showed signs of it in the second half.
  11. That's why I said the both of them are special in this league. That said Adebayo was injured for plenty of games last season and Morris was prolific without him. Same as the year before for Adebayo when he scored 17. Anyway the point was that if you have two CF's like that you're going to be in with a shout of promotion.
  12. Yeah I kind of got that. 21/22 - Adebayo 17 goals 22/23 - Morris 20 goals Nothing special about those two players in the Championship is there Jim. No one special in that team. Just graft and a big lump.
  13. Morris and Adebayo are pretty special in this league. They've got 15 between them in the PL.
  14. A win against lowly Stoke shouldn't hide the issues with the club. The owners are that out of touch with the club and football in general that even if we got promoted we're one bad decision away from imploding.
  15. Burnley only off the bottom through goal difference after Sheffield Utd beat Luton.
  16. Eustace came down from the stands for exactly that reason. He was thinking what we were thinking.
  17. O'Riordan's a giant isn't he. McFadz gave everything. Dolan, Gallagher, Brittain and Hedges stepped up in the first half.
  18. He only needed to kick it. He seemed to be waiting for the perfect moment but there are no perfect moments in football. Tells me he doesn't have a strikers instinct.
  19. 3 points, just what we needed. Some players raised their game today. Sadly Telalovic showed he's not got the quality for this league. Need to do Birmingham now, but nice to have a few days without a dark cloud.
