  1. Almost 2-0 down only for a good save from Toth. Charlton are the only ones who look like they want to win the match.
  2. "What the fucking hell was that" the Charlton fans chant after a terrible free kick from Pickering. Echoing most Rovers fans since 2021.
  3. Years of downgrading on show here and I'm not sure why Ribeiro's been dropped.
  4. What a cocky arrogant tw@t he is. He's already fallen on his sword and he doesn't know it.
  5. Make a flag out of it!!!
  6. A steward tried to throw me out in 2010 for taking a photo of a plane. We're back to the Anderson days.
  7. Grubby decision by narcissistic people. Can't take criticism but continually do things to incite it. They sink ever lower into their own cesspit.
  8. I'm not sure what rise above it means in this context as I'm not fucking grieving over it. I was just pointing out a strangeness.
  9. They are populating every post on the Rovers Facebook page.
  10. One surprising aspect of this whole sorry saga is what a shocking bunch Ipswich fans are. I've known a few over the years and they've always seemed decent grounded folk. Years ago when Rovers and Ipswich were in the PL they were always a decent humble bunch. So I was happy when they got promoted last year and hoped they'd stay up. A year in the PL has turned them into Man Utd fans from the 90's but without the trophy cabinet to back it up.
  11. "It was impossible to finish the game," said McKenna. "From the start of the second half the pitch was getting to the point of unplayable really. " "It was really slushy before the game started, but the ball rolled okay in the first half to be fair. It was holding up a little bit. But in the second half, the footing was too slippery to be safe, then the ball stops moving. It was an inevitable decision that could maybe have been made earlier. In the end there was no other option." "We hope to reward them, starting next Saturday (at home to Portsmouth) and in the matches to come. There's every chance that we'll be back up here again. Hopefully we'll reward them because we really, really appreciate their support."
  12. Not one of his comments referred to his team being awful for almost the entire game or his tactics consisting of using the wet conditions to try and maim their opponents. He did mention that the second half was pretty much unplayable from the off - ignoring the fact it only affected one team negatively, turning them into cheating shithouses collecting 4 yellows and a red.
  13. If Ipswich win the replay and those 3 points help them to automatic promotion, play offs or play off promotion. The clubs in third or seventh place are going to be massively pissed off. Come the end of the season this decision could impact so many other clubs. Imagine if those 3 points kept them up and the huge amount of money lost from the team or teams beneath them (potentially us). If the EFL watch the game they'll see that Ipswich were never going to win that game. They were poor and got worse as the match went on. Both teams had the same conditions to play in and they had a man less. And there was only one team trying to injure the other.
  14. They'll never abandon it with United being 2-0 up. Even if the players were drowning 2 minutes in, they'd still make them play the full 90 and award them 3 points. Under Fergie it would have been an extra point for each drowned opposition player.
  15. There was only his players trying to poleaxe people and strangely enough the Rovers players had coped okay.
  16. We were in the Blackburn End and they were sliding right in front of us. By the time it was called off we were wet through.
  17. Being positive, that was a decent performance.
  18. Embarassing. After a quick look at one of their forums they aren't happy with performances so this might be a season highlight. And I didn't realise Will from the Inbetweeners was an Ipswich fan!
  19. He was alright, a step up from Tavares.
  20. It was hilarious as the only team that was using the wet pitch to slide into the opposition was them. Yet he was moaning to the referee about it being dangerous. Ref should have told him to stop his fucking players from doing it then.
  21. It was all a bit shameless and cringy like they'd won the league. They should have celebrated a bit of good fortune quietly as it was a bad performance and they were on their way to another defeat. It all felt a bit desperate from a club you'd expect more of. It's made me think a lot less of McKenna. Where did sportsmanship go?
  22. Artists impression of Ipswich changing room, moments ago.
  23. Notably didn't stop the match at Turf Moor in arguably the same conditions.
  24. Yep, let's test it when there even more water on the pitch. The absolute prick.
